I arrived early for my 10 am appointment, that I dreaded, and left a few minutes before 11 am, had a consultation and molar extraction under an hour. At no time did a feel rushed and all my questions answere. What a relief it was to have such a quick and pain free procedure! Other than some discomfort with the local injection to freeze my tooth area, I felt no pain. The actual procedure was under 15 minutes with the balance waiting for the injection to fully numb me and receiving post operation information. Most impressive was Christina, who gently massaged my arm while praising me and assuring me I was a "trooper", doing "fantastic, and "tough as nails." If she was channeling my Mom from decades ago--it certainly worked! Another assistant, Tony, anticipated my every need. Mekka went above and beyond to ensure I didn't experience a long wait time by changing my appointment time. Who needs a long wait upon arrival when you just want it over with? Nataly resolved a glitch with my credit card and Perla calmed me when my blood pressure was too high. Hopefully, this senior citizen (me) will have no further need for a tooth extraction, but should it occur, I would insist upon returning to Dr. Clark and his awesome team! read more

I want to update this review because of the excellent planning, execution and delivery of a service and good. I am 100% satisfied I don't even know where to start. Today I found out that all my implants have held, I have healed properly and can eat regular food now. Yes for a few months you want to eat soft foods, I got 11 different recipes now for cottage cheese , learned to love yogurt, and soup, it's good too but it was all worth it. Please don't tell Dr Clark or his staff I cannot lie, I did splurge a few times ( Dr Clark says if you can cut it with a plastic fork then u can eat it, I had a few hamburgers and tacos but was very careful as I was in recovery.LOl. As previously mentioned in earlier reviews Same day smile is a top notch , professional dental office that puts clients and patients 1 st. I have always had issues with dental offices , you just know it's gonna hurt , and that is my experience. Pain, suffering , billing , etiquette, understanding. It's just a mess. My teeth , all of them were removed by Dr. clark and his crew in 1 yes 1 day, not even a day I was told by Dr Clark and anesthesiologist that I was under , they put me to sleep for a quick 6 hours . I woke up with new teeth and the adventure began.What an amazing staff. Dr Clark really does care about the well being of his patients and it shines . From the second he walks in the room he brings positive energy and he has never caused me pain.He has a very well oiled machine. From Mekka, treatment coordinator who explained the financing very clearly with no pressure, Evelyn who is a very dedicated manager and facilitates smooth running , Natalie , front desk who always greets you with a smile and positive tone. Lourdes Tony and Andrew , I can't even express to you how professional , truthful and caring they were you are awesome! You can tell they have had extensive training and there were never any surprises and honestly no bumps in the road. Seriously- and hear me clear, this was an investment, to get all my teeth done. It's been a long journey, there were a couple times that the temporary teeth broke. The team here with Dr Clark fixed it almost immediately. Tho office is buissy but they cater to individuals like me never rushing, inducing pain or putting you off. The amazing thing to me is and has been the after care program . . Honestly , i mean where do people like this come from wow!! If you need new teeth or medication has caused harm or whatever your circumstances might be, don't put it off any more. From the front office to the back, you're really welcomed with open arms- no judgment , no questions just pure , untainted- professionalism that is displayed from every single person at this office. My life has completely been transformed not only with the new smile I haven't had for 20 years, but I was told I had so much infection in my rotting teeth, it could make me sick I feel so much better. . After this I'm done because I could go on & on & on. Don't see or trust anybody but Dr Clark and his crew, his team. You are number 1 and he won't let you down. My experience was AMAZING! I went for complete upper and lower arch implants. I was extremely nervous in the beginning, but I was quickly put at ease. When you walk in, the office is so calming, the staff are so friendly and nice. The assistants are great, they made me feel so comfortable and were great at every appointment. Dr. Clark and Dr. Ash are the best! They explained the entire process and always made sure I was doing ok and not in pain. I can't imagine going anywhere else. It takes me approximately an hour from where I live, but I happily drive that distance because of the great experience I always have. What can I say.... from the very first phone call with Mecca to set up the free consultation two surgery day with Dr. Clark and all my follow-ups with Dr. Ash same-day smile is absolutely amazing. On the very first call with Mecca, she answered every single question that I had and believe me there were a lot. She gave me a ton of information over the phone. She helped set up the free consultation the rough estimate pricing that I asked for over the phone was pretty much spot on at the end of the day. I went in on the day of the consultation with a firm stance that I was not gonna sign any paperwork or do anything else until I've had at least a couple more consultations which almost immediately became null and void. The Natalia at the front desk has tattoos of dental implants. That's how I knew I was in the right place if you're that passionate about dental implants, you wouldn't be working at a crappy dental office. lol Perla and did the CAT scan they were amazing. They also helped prep me for surgery. After the cat scan Dr. Clark took some time to review the images he came in and explained that I was the perfect candidate for all on x procedure. He explained in great detail with that meant and all the steps needed to get there we went over my medical history. He also told me that I would be needing tearagoids.... He explained to me what they were and that they were not just something that I should consider, but that he wouldn't even recommend doing the procedure without them and that knew this office and this doctor with the one for me he told me even if you do not go with us, whoever you go with make sure you bring up the teragoids and if they don't do them find a different office. We ran credit and I signed the paperwork same day went home and canceled my other two consultations. I had never been under anesthesia so I was a little scared on surgery day, but everybody in the office really put me at ease and thank God I woke up lol they put Peaky Blinders on for me in the recovery room. They released me with a bunch of gauze and cold packs. The super cool thing was I got a text from both Dr. Ashley and Dr. Clark later that night just to make sure I was OK.. Dr ash has been amazing helping me design my new smile. I've seen him 3 times so far and today will be my last visit before getting my final set. Everybody in this office has been amazing. They really are changing lives here. I just walk around smiling for no reason so people can see them. Even when I'm getting bad news, I smile just to show them off. lol. First time client of Dr. Clark. My dentist referred me to Dr. Clark for a molar tooth extraction. The office staff is very professional, cordial and and helpful. The man and woman that assisted with the extraction were comforting and professional. The anesthesia was very effective and I had no pain during or after the extraction. I was amazed at how easy this process went. I am an 82 year old man and had no tooth extraction since I was 8 years old. So I was concerned about pain during and after the extraction. Dr. Clark put me at ease before and during the procedure. He and his team took the time to thoroughly explain to me in the consultation meeting and the day of surgery exactly what will happen. I had a root canal from 5 years prior that had gone bad-so I was referred to Dr. Clark for extraction and implant. I am an RN and recognized quickly how experienced this surgeon was-My anesthesia was absolutely perfect-had no pain, no side effects-it was pretty much perfect!-and no big deal! I like that he has long term employees that assist him and also have tons of experience-don't remember their names-2 middle age women. Dr. Clark is very professional and so good with my teens when they both had their wisdom teeth out. I got 5 teeth extracted at once and I was super nervous but Dr. Clark and his team were super reassuring and nice throughout the whole process! My orthodontist said my extra tooth would be difficult to remove due to its placement in my mouth but Dr. Clark was able to get it easily. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at this office by Dr.Clark. He and his staff are all professional and also kind and welcoming. All my questions were answered and Dr.Clark thoroughly explained things ahead of the procedure. Everything was outlined well, all my options explained, and everything I would need to do ahead of time and afterwards was in good detail. I received a call from Dr.Clark the next day to check on my progress and to remind me to keep ice on my face and continue with pain medication. I also received an email a few days after that. I did have some concerns after a week and emailed Dr. Clark. He emailed back within 24hrs (on the weekend) and one of the office staff called me later on to follow-up as well. Our son had 4 very impacted wisdom teeth. After consulting with Dr. Clark we all felt very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. After the very efficient surgery for such a complicated case, it seems the perfect amount of sedation was given and our son was alert and did not have any of the typical nonsensical conversation afterward. The days following we made sure we followed the directions carefully regarding the pain meds/antibiotics/icing and he experienced no pain for the duration of the healing process. All four of my kids had their wisdom teeth pulled in their senior year of high school. Our dentist recommended Dr. Clark for our oldest child and we had such a good experience, we kept going back. The office staff is so nice and they are helpful with going over costs/insurance. Dr. Clark is really caring and does a great job of explaining the whole procedure so the kids were all comfortable going into surgery. My healing process was a living nightmare after my wisdom teeth were extracted. During my recovery a dry socket had developed which caused a non-stop horrendous pain for 10 days straight. I went back to see Clark after three days of non stop pain. It was clear that I was in bad condition just by looking at me. He was heading out of town when I got to his office. I had caught him while he was closing up. I explained the misery I had been dealing with for the last couple of days and he replied with "what would you like me to do to help"? I just looked at him in disbelief. My thought was, I am not a doctor, I have no idea what the answer is; I just know I need help ASAP. He did take me back and he took a look. He saw the dry socket. He did give me some clove extract. He put some on the wound and I sat there for a few minutes and the pain did go down from a 10 to about a 6. He gave me two things of the clove to take home. I did appreciate that. The clove would help lower the pain level a bit but it would only last for less than hour before the pain would shoot back up. I went another two days before I was so miserable that I could not even think straight. I went back to the office and finally after expressing over and over how much pain I was dealing with the doctor finally gave me stronger pain medicine to help mask the pain. I had read online about other medicine that can be injected into the dry socket to help with pain and healing process. I was never offered that medicine. And then on the 10th day after my surgery I felt a crunch in my lower jaw where my wisdom tooth was, following with the most awful pain. The next morning I could not open my mouth. I had lock jaw for the next four days!!! This was very painful and very scary. To not be able to open my mouth made me so very anxious and depressed. During all of this I never received a courtesy phone call from the doctors office to see how I was doing. I called them and spoke to one of his nurses and explained I have lockjaw. She acted like it was no biggie, just a muscle thing. Trust me, if you have never experienced lockjaw or dry socket, you never ever ever want to. DO NOT BRUSH IT OFF IF YOU HAVE A PATIENT DEALING WITH EITHER DRY SOCKET OR LOCKJAW. THEY ARE BOTH LIVING HELL FOR A PERSON. I never wish this on anyone! I can finally open my mouth. My pain in my mouth is finally getting better. I would say I am about 85% healed. My surgery was on May 31st and here we are on June 24th. Btw I still have not received a courtesy follow up call to see if I am finally better. I was really happy with the doctor the day of the surgery. It really does suck that it ended up this way but after my surgery was done and everything went to hell for me I felt like I was an inconvenience to the doctor and his staff. It was like my pain and agony was an inconvenience for them. It sure wasn't an inconvenience when I paid to get the procedure done. I even opt in to get my own blood put into the extraction after the surgery to help my healing process. I paid extra for that but It sure didn't seem to help. I am bummed because I only got one side done and still have to get my other side of wisdom teeth removed. I will be going to a different surgeon after this whole nightmare. read more

I was referred to Dr Clark from my general dentist Dr Mark Nguyen in Costa Mesa. It was recommended that I would get a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Everyone I encountered from this office has been awesome! From the treatment coordinator Teri Medina to nurses Jackie and Perla. They are all super nice, professional and knowledgeable. I was very nervous about the sinus lift/bone graft procedure, but Teri did a great job educating me by showing me a video, Dr Clark also showed me a computer generated image of what the actual implant will look like. On the day of the procedure, they started on time, gave me just enough sedation to take the edge off, but not too much to make me nauseous. I did not experience any pain at all and aside from slight swelling the next day, no issues at all. Dr Clark even texted me the same night to check up on my status. I'm 28, and had been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for years. Finally my dentist said it was time....and they referred me to Dr. Clark. I was super nervous but when I went for my consultation, Dr. Clark put me at ease. He ordered a CT scan since all 4 of my teeth were impacted so he could see exactly what he was working with, and made me aware of potential risks since I'm 28 not 17 anymore.... He left everything up to me and didn't "push" anything on me.. During the procedure I was under general anesthetic and didn't feel a thing.The front office girl is super sweet and always followed up. She even called me a few hours after my surgery and made sure I was ok. Later that night, Dr Clark even called me personally. I hate the dentist, but Dr Clark made it a positive experience! When I was told I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, I was instantly nervous. Not so much about the pain necessarily (although not being able to eat Chipotle for a few days was brutal), but about the craziness/dopiness that usually ensues after the anesthesia begins to wear off (especially after being with my best friend just moments after his surgery and seeing him literally act like an animal); for me, I didn't want to make any stupid choices immediately after the surgery. Dr. Clark took great care of me from the moment I got there, and the nurses at Dr. Scott Lamming's practice in San Juan Capistrano, CA took excellent care of me as well. While everyone's experiences with wisdom teeth extraction are no doubt different and personalized, my experience was seamless. Granted it's only been 7 days since the surgery, I've already been eating most normal foods for the past couple of days and only have minimal soreness in my gums. I went back to my work as a Valet Parker (which requires a lot of running) only two days after the surgery. If you want to have confidence in your surgeon and have minimal nervousness about this infamous surgery, then go with Dr. Clark! read more
