Very uneducated and unprofessional approach to something that should just be standard practice in today's terms. Isolation is 5 days or until you have a negative test. Not 21 days. It's sad that I have to write such a negative review on what was actually a good experience. But the lack of knowledge on basic things would make me question the overall sanitary side of things. And why for me, I'll have to look elsewhere.

I've never had a bad experience despite being here loads of times, and the walk-in system is exactly what you'd expect - busy at peak times like lunch and weekends, really quick and easy if you can get the odd half hour off otherwise. The prices are good and the loyalty card is nice if you're a regular. Hours are very reasonable and often extended around holiday times! To be honest, having hair literally ripped from your skin is never going to be your favorite way to spend a morning and it's always going to be uncomfortable but it's the least painful you can get here. Plus they're very good about using samples of their products on you from time to time to help prevent rash, ingrowns, etc. which is honestly one of the reasons I keep coming back, other places are so unbelievably stingy. On my next visit I was told there was a 25 min wait, which was fine. I came back at the agreed time and was left waiting another 15 min. Time I did not have, but I need my eyebrows done, so I persisted with the wait. The brow shape was fine, but my skin was left so red and tender. I treated it with aloe vera when I got home to bring the redness down. Also after three days spots that had appeared on one brow remained. Ugh. I wont be back. After being to Urban Wax and Brazilia, regardless of how more expensive they are, I can now appreciate that you get what you pay for when it comes to waxing in this city.

Some of the staff can be more chatty than others, but they know what they're doing and they get you everything you want - unless that's a brazilian wax, as they don't go further than bikini lines here. Downstairs they have the hairdresser and upstairs they offer their other beauty services. I keep returning for their shellac manicure, one of the girls especially is absolutely brilliant and does a perfect job. And at that price, it feels like a bargain every time. Kate was very quick to respond when I texted her and I set up an appointment. Kate is a lovely Hungarian woman who has lived in Ireland for 13 years. She runs a little beauty salon out of her home and provides professional, inexpensive, clean and excellent service for both men and women. After getting to know Kate for a while now, I decided to take her up on a facial skin cleaning (€44). For over an hour she removed all the pores and blackheads, moisturised and massaged my face and decolletage with Gigi products (from the Dead Sea). I left feeling incredibly clean and my face was glowing. Kate also provides body massages, body treatments, manicures and make up. Go on her site and trust me, you will not be disappointed.
