After my initial call and message he contacted me straight away and said he would come and give me a quote. Really nice guy,friendly and affable,he got into the job straight away,he really knew what he was talking about and was truly keen on getting the job completed to our satisfaction. Shane even made a few suggestions as to how to improve the job even more than we had thought of and the end result was fantastic. He is a genuinely nice guy and a great worker,just a family man doing the best for his family and doing amazing work at the same time. His final invoice price was fair and there were no upfront fees for anything and no stress about paying in a certain time frame. It was one invoice I was more than happy to pay and will certainly call him again should the need arise for more work.

All other handymen that I contacted asked that I first email them the list together with some photos and then either ignored me completely or text me a quote without even coming out to properly discuss the job. Elias was the only one that came out and spent time with us discussing the work and then provided me with a very reasonable quote on the spot. Elias locked in a time with me and turned up on time each day to start work, which for most trades people these days is quite unusual. The quality of the work was fantastic, and Elias continued to engage with me on how I wanted the work done through out the process. I couldn't recommend him any higher. John responded quickly to my request for a quote which was very reasonable. His advise and knowledge of plant choices was first rate. Always arriving when he said he would and leaving everything impeccably tidy, he and Dean did an awesome job restoring my garden to its former glory. He went out of his way to organise quotes for restoring a timber structure over my fernery, sourced high quality plants and did everything he said he would quickly and without fuss. If you want an excellent job done by someone who is knowledgeable, professional and friendly, I doubt you'd find anyone better and I'll certainly be recommending him to friends. This company is Absolutely terrible to deal with. DO NOT do business with them, I was promised my…read moreshutters in 6 to 8 weeks it took them nearly 17 weeks, the installer came out alone and I had to spend half a day up on a ladder helping the installer FIT the shutters as he needed a second set of hands to hold them. After all this they provided me with the WRONG color (wasn't out by a huge amount was still grey, but the wrong grey) after all this I tried to come to a compromise with them as obviously I wished to have the shutters either re done in the right color to match everything else or some sort of discount for the much around, they offered a few hundred dollars off a $17,000 job. When I said that wasn't acceptable I wanted them to do something better they assumed I was trying to dodge the bill, were extremely rude and unprofessional, emailed me back and said they are removing the good will discount of a few hundred and if I didn't pay in 24 hours they would add a near $1800 late fee, I responded to them and said that wasn't acceptable I'm waiting for the general manager to come up with a fair middle ground instead I got send a new invoice with the $1800 fee added and the next morning was forwarded to E Collect a debt collection agency they use. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from what looks to be a good company. I will be pursuing this further, but in my honest opinion I would steer clear of these people. I have had shutters done on my two other houses and never had any issues like this before. I have also worked in the sales and building industry for well over a decade and have never seen a company treat its customers like this. They took $5400 deposit so they have some of the money and they will not come to a fair arrangement. To put it into perspective from memory I was only asking for approx another $1000 off the price of the total job to make it fair and Instead this is how I get treated.
