Anthony with Simply Intricate Designs came highly recommended by a neighbor/friend of ours. I was…read moreable to view before and after photos on their website and felt confident he could do the job we needed. I contacted him on a Sunday, he said he would reach out on Monday and by noon I had heard from him and gave him all of my information. By sending photos and measurements he told me exactly what to get and where to get it, the process was simple and easy. Within 24 hours he was in our home ripping up old carpet and installing beautiful vinyl flooring. I work from home and I barely noticed he was there. He was on time, kind, professional and efficient. I feel that we paid a fair price for the service and we are more than satisfied with the results. We are absolutely in love with our new flooring and would recommend this company in a heartbeat to any of our friends and family. Thanks so much Anthony for a wonderful experience and for your friendly and professional demeanor, we truly appreciate it.

This will be the last time I use Halpins for flooring, although the end result was good, it wasn't…read moreworth the amount of stress dealing with them. The Installation people were what made this experience horrible. I had to constantly call them to try and schedule (which took weeks, I had to call the customer service rep multiple times to get them to help only for it eventually lead to my request being handed to the owner to finally get it scheduled), once I finally got it scheduled they cancelled on me multiple times due to other projects taking longer than expected. I never got a call back to reschedule and AGAIN had to leave multiple voice messages to get them to finish what they started, finally someone from installation showed up only to as me "Whats wrong with it?", Me: "Theres no trim on it..." Installer: "oh... I think they sent me to the wrong house, yeah I dont have the stuff for this..." SO. FRIKKING. FRUSTRATING. They apologized of course, but I am done with them. Halpin's was great up until you deal with the Installation part, and they do a great job when they do finally show up, but the amount of stress just wasn't worth it when I can easily go somewhere else for just as good results.

The installation itself was fantastic -- the materials look great and the work was done very well…read more I'm genuinely happy with the quality of the install. However, the cleanup afterward was extremely disappointing. There was tile grout dust left everywhere in the areas where repairs were made, along with debris, carpet trimmings across the floor, and trash left in the front yard. I wasn't expecting a spotless finish or professional floor cleaning, but this was basic garbage that could have easily been handled with a quick shop vac. I called to report the issue, and they said someone would come back out to clean it up. Unfortunately, when they "returned," nothing had been touched -- it looked exactly the same, which was frustrating. For a job that cost over $6,000, cleanup should be part of the service, especially when a follow-up visit is promised. Great install, but the lack of attention to cleanup and follow-through really took away from the overall experience.
