Pad See Ew with chicken (spice level 28)
Dennis B.

I've been going to SAM Thai cuisine for over 12 years now and it's just as good now as it was the first time. Sam is a great guy and doesn't get enough credit for how amazing and authentic his food is. Everything we've ever had has been spectacular. I love spicy food and when Sam asks how hot I want it from 1 to 10, I'll often say "28" and then he knows who I am. It's the only place I've ever gone to that can make it as hot as I want it so I don't have to add more spice when I get home. My favorite is the Pad See Ew and the Thai barbecue chicken.

Closed Sundays & Mondays, takeout only (at this time)

How do you say "Yummy" in Thai? That's a 5* for freshness and great flavors! You pick your own spice level (Midwestern vs Authentic Thai) and the "hot" 7 spice is just that! No indoor seating at this time and they are currently closed Sundays & Mondays. There is a nice park on the other side of Kowalski's called Lions Park that you can bring your piping hot food to and eat at one of the picnic tables there. Or bring it home and enjoy it there! Food is made to order, so it will take a few minutes to cook it to your specifications (just remember the spice warning!).

Shrimp Pad Thai, absolutely delicious!

This is my new favorite local spot! My boyfriend & his family have been eating here for years, but it's my first time. I got the Shrimp Pad Thai, my boyfriend got the Chicken Pad Thai, and his sister got the Beef & Broccoli. They were all FANTASTIC!! Big portions with big shrimps. This is the best Thai food I've had in quite a while, and it feels good supporting a local business run by a genuinely nice guy. They have a ton of options so no matter what you're in the mood for, you're likely going to find something you like! They also have a spicy meter from 0 to 10, so if you're a big fan of spicy, eat here! I got the 0 spice since I'm a bit of a wimp, and it was perfect. Basically, next time you're craving Thai food, get takeout from here!

This is a small unassuming place that's big on flavor! My new doctor is about 100 feet away. I had to reward myself with some new food after being poked & prodded & having my blood drawn. The menu is mostly Thai on one side and Chinese on the other side. Of course, I had to checkout the Thai. I love good Thai food. Plus, the owner is Thai. That's a good sign that I won't be disappointed. The food I tried out was great! I received a surprisingly large quantity of food with my Spring Rolls (see photos). And there were nice, ample sized shrimp. This is a pleasant change compared to the microscopic amounts of meat used in most Chinese joints. My Thai beef dish was also very, very good. I enjoyed the spicy brown curry with peanuts. The beef was obviously higher quality than I expected (see photos). It made a big difference. And it was served over a layer of fresh spinach leaves - yum! The rice in the shape of a big heart was a nice touch. Finally, the hot tea was excellent. I haven't had tea this good since...since I don't remember when. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Pad Thai with a spicy 1. Comes with a good sized lime. Double the size of some other restaurants and plenty of crushed peanuts.

I have had Pad Thai at several other restaurants before, but Sam's Thai Cuisine is really good Pad Thai. I got it with a spicy 1 and it's spot on. Comes with a good sized lime. Double the size of some other restaurants and plenty of crushed peanuts. It did cost a bit more than some other restaurants, but I think its well worth the price.

Spicy red curry (chicken, 3 of 10 on their spicy scale)

There were a great variety of delicious sushi, Chinese and southeast Asian dishes, enough to please everyone in your groups palette. The restaurant is really busy, we also saw lots of food order pick up's. The service was great even for our party of 10, which we called ahead and made reservations for. We had the pleasure of meeting the 2 brothers that owned the restaurant, Teng Ly who is the chef & Futchy Ly who is the sushi chef. They are really great, hard working & wonderful people! The portions are pretty big so pricing is fair. The entree's are served family style. The flavors of the food were big and on point and you will go home stuffed. We ordered a lot more entrees but the food was so delicious, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of them before they got devoured! Everything was perfect, our party was pleased. We will definitely be stopping in every time we can, when we are in town.

The pho could use a lot of work, there was not much of a taste there. We had to adjust it to make it work. As well as the meat portion it was small for what we had. Sushi on the other hand was amazing! Only con was the rice, but the fish combination was fantastic! Service was great, they checked up on us and filled up water, and offer complimentary pork grinds
