I wanted fish and there was only one plate on the menu. A note stated that since it was not possible to get the variety of fresh fish at this time of year from Lake Constance, they could only offer the one choice as they would not lower their standards and serve frozen fish. I ordered the fish and my company ordered the roast beef steak with caramelized onions, both came with pan fried potatoes. We ended up trading half of each dish and both were by far the best meal I've had in Germany! Good wine, good service, good atmosphere...it was a fantastic evening. This is a good quality restaurant and the reason I couldn't go there twice was that at that time I just couldn't afford it. They have authentic, high quality German food. The coffee area is my favorite part. The ambiance is absolutely perfect and allows for a great time. The coffees and small eats are always delicious.
