Of course I bought one. It has since been used many many times and I can say that it's one of the best kitchen items I've ever owned. It's worth having a quick browse in here. Staff are very helpful and they always seem to have at least a few items on sale.

I went because it had "farmers markets" in the title but I will return because this was the first…read moreplace I saw, bought and tried purple carrots, target beetroot, Federweisser and kohlrabi. Fruit and veg stalls were ridiculously cheap (probably because they are not covering transport costs to come into the city) with bunches of carrots, kale and seasonal veg costing $4. Stalls were much more diverse than other farmers markets I have been to and they had a lovely air of Barossa german heritage to them. The butchers, bakers and dried fruit makers were out in force and all giving out tastings and everything had been made from locally sourced ingredients. Barossa Coffee Roasters had a line up the entire time I was there for fresh coffee and the simple white loaf egg and bacon rolls or tomato and cheese toasties (all using produce from stall holders) were selling out quick. 2 top tips for this place that you will need to heed if you wish to stock your Nanna trolley high is: 1) Bring cash and plenty of it (there is an ATM there but you get charged), you end up spending your money pretty quick once you start tasting all the unique, organic and scrummy little bits and bobs you can't get in Adelaide. 2) Get there before 9:30am or you are going to have a hell of a time trying to find a loaf of bread or fresh pastries worth purchasing.

I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.

Sure, this is your typical shopping centre, but it certainly has a great variety of shops, and an entertainment area out the front as well. It certainly has changed.

It may appear small, but it oozes with charm and treasures to be had by all. I've always adored countryside op shops and this one was utterly perfect. At my last visit I picked up an Indian jewelled incense stick holder for $2, a top for $1 and a couple of knick knacks under $2. They have some gorgeous donated linen here, all with the country charm and delightful toys for the kids to explore and claim their own. I was pretty impressed with the clothing here, they had some lovely dresses and hats too! Cheap, good stock, friendly volunteers and clean. They get 5 stars from me!

They had Italian calligraphy sets with different coloured ink and different sized and shaped nibs, they had amazing Italian leather satchels & overnight bags, beautiful parchment paper books and wooden chess & backgammon boards. My girlfriend assures me the jewelry was nice too. I'll admit the store is not cheap, but it's clear you are paying for quality. It is definitely a store I'd head back too, even though it's an hour & a quarter drive.

The centre is a lot like most suburban shopping centres, if not a little bit outdated, but there was plenty there. It's pretty big, with two major supermarkets, a Big W and a Harris Scarves. There are plenty of other specialty stores, mostly chain stores rather than local small businesses. It really just feels like the centre could do with a bit of sprucing up, and perhaps a proper food court (unless I missed that one) but it certainly looks like a handy centre if you live nearby.

Those shops are the main places that I go if I need to buy something cheap. There's also a post office and a Harris Scarf. There's also other clothing shops inside but I never buy any clothes from the shops because they're too expensive... and I'm more of an op shop kinda gal. There's places inside to have a bite to eat (I like the sushi bar.) I've heard that they're going to renovate Parabanks and I can't wait for that to happen.
