I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.

From clothing to bric-a-brac to electronics to cameras to furniture, there's something here for everyone. They have periodic sales, for example, 50% off all furniture for a week, and the prices are incredibly good. The volunteers who manage the store are friendly and helpful, and more than willing to assist you with your needs. I did really well here, managing to grab a leather (!) recliner chair for $30, during the 50% off furniture week this week. With such a wide variety, even with the long distance drive it took for us to get here, I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it as a good op shop stop if you're out that way.

This is an op shop that's more than just an op shop…read more I'm incredibly impressed with the ethic of ADRA Op Shops. This one in particular. There is a wealth of goods to buy from here--electrical, furniture, books, toys, pet things, clothes, bric-a-brac--and they also sell non-alcoholic wines and their own honey. But what really impressed me was that they have food for free for those who are in need. By the front door is a large rack, and in that rack, on the day we visited, were bags and bags of fruits and vegetables--all free. We were told that sometimes there are loaves of bread or boxes of eggs or tins of food, all provided by ADRA's staff for people who really need it. I thought this was just terrific, and really showed how important it is for these organisations to exist, to help those people who are in need and may not know how to access supports or have trouble accessing supports. The range of goods on sale too, was great. I did very well here, grabbing a set of 8 etched glasses made in France, and a couple of paperbacks. My friend bought a few items as well. There's a cafe in the shop too, and a bathroom, which can be essential sometimes, on those long, happy op shop days. The shop is just behind the biggest Bunnings in the north, and the staff are friendly, pleasant and polite. Prices are good, and overall, the atmosphere was terrific. Will definitely visit again.

With other thrift shops nearby it makes you wonder why they're actually here. I don't like being negative about these sorts of places as they have potential to be really great. Maybe if they had a little more space and setup more shelves so they could fit more stock in then this place could be a haven for those little treasures they we all go to thrift shops for. I'm not saying you definitely won't find something in the store, but with the giant Goodwill store right around the corner why would you bother?

As far as Little Optopia goes, good things come in small packages. I saw a lint roller with $8 on it that could be purchased at Kmart for $4. I no longer shop at salvos, vinnies or goodwill because of the prices they charge. I will now ad careworks into the mix and stick to my local church op shop.

This is an independent op shop that supports community charities which makes it a little different…read morefrom your Salvos, Vinnies etc. It's a smallish store divided into three sections; the main one is clothes and books, then shoes, bags, bric-a-brac, electrical goods and home wares and then fabric, sewing supplies, toys and kids clothes. I have found a lot of nice items in here; clothes, shoes, some vintage glomesh bag action, brand new kids clothes, retro Tupperware and some unique and cool jewellery. There are often some good labels tucked in amongst the maturer lady items and their front cabinet is well worth a look.

Selling broken items without clearly stating that they are broken is a complete and utter scam…read more They want very high prices for second hand items. The whole store is a rip off. Go to the Salvos or St Vinnies, do not waste your money on a business that receives it items for free to sell, and scams you with broken inferior goods for sale.

Rude staff don't even thankyou for making a donation or purchase. Hide breakages with their price…read morestickers. Clothing not clean not sized properly. Very slow service. Over priced. Privatised Salvation Army are cheaper. Tall bloke acts rudely to some customers and sucks up to some customers. Barely does anything but brings out broken items. Should be sacked for acting rudely to ex customers. Also the lady with dark hair makes you chase the trolley of stuff she's bringing out but if you're her friend or family she chats and they go through the trolley no chasing With me I practically have to run to see what's in trolley am sick of you you rude lady. Very rude you should be sacked. Also I've noticed many donated goods never make it to the shelves only broken dirty or crappy goods. Never shopping here again. P.S. Clean the clothes you allow every one to try on they reek of body odour and mould.
