Little Inspirations Childcare

Little Inspirations Childcare

When our first daughter was born 4 years ago, my wife and I really wanted to find someone that…read morecared for three or four children in their home. We weren't very interested in a "childcare center" by the traditional definition. We weren't able to find anyone close with any openings. After receiving a few word-of-mouth recommendations, we toured Little Inspiration and our daughter started attending. My entire viewpoint of "childcare centers" has been corrected since then. Our 2 daughters have been attending Little Inspirations since they were 12 weeks old. Looking back, if I were to do it again, I would not change a thing. Our daughters' manners, speech, imaginations, and personalities are beyond my original expectations. This really clicked almost two years ago when we were eating supper at home. Our older daughter, out of the blue, said "May I be excused please?". Our families are pretty laid back, so this took us by surprise. It was right then that I knew they are having a great childhood. Here are some key points on Little Inspirations: 1. Communication is great. They inform us well in advance of various items: upcoming events, additional clothes needed (warm items for outside, etc), when starting to run low on diapers/wipes, school news 2. Accommodating. Our younger daughter was on a non-dairy diet for nearly two years. They accommodated this request as if she was their own daughter. We could even see the special instructions/notes in certain areas to remind the teachers about this. As we were transitioning her into dairy, they even allowed us to include cheese on certain menu items, and not others. 3. Candor. Yes, candor. If you aren't familiar with this word, don't be afraid to read about it. The entire team at Little Inspirations talks to us AND the kids with candor. Because.... they aren't just kids... they're little humans. 4. Personable. All of the team at Little Inspirations is just remarkable at remembering personable items. Example: On a Monday morning, 7am, our daughter walks into Little Inspirations after a weekend at Wis Dells. Two teachers at different times say to our daughter "Hey you, how was your weekend at the water park?". In summary, I've told many people that I know that I GENUINELY recommend Little Inspirations. We've gotten to know much of their team very well. We trust them and we feel beyond comfortable with them. I hope this message will reach more people than I am able to do so by word-of-mouth.

All I have to say is DO NOT put your kid into this daycare. They have better pricing than most…read moreother childcare facilities around but you get what you pay for & it isn't worth your child's wellbeing. Horrible daycare & the owner needs to be investigated by the state.

This childcare is a step above the Salvation Army with Kindercare prices. She is not ever ready to go when I get there, not that it's a huge problem to get my baby ready, but for these prices, I expected them to atleast have of all her things in one place. Also, they don't actually have a curriculum for any of the children and the nutrition offered us just not good. The last day I allowed my child in their establishment, I had went to pick her up, and all of the other children in the classroom were seated at the table just staring off into space and my child was on the other side of the room by herself playing. The teachers then just stood there not saying anything about how my baby's day went Or anything. They didn't even help me get her ready. The classrooms barely have anything in them for kids to play with and I've heard children be yelled at by teachers before. I once went in and a employee went to hand me someone else's child. I am African American and so was this child but my child is biracial and much lighter than me. Nonetheless, an employee who works at an establishment (where I am paying out of pocket mind you) should know who's kid belongs to who! If I am going to be paying more for childcare than I am paying for rent, I expect good service and care for my child. I am a single mother and I want what's best for my child. There is a childcare shortage in my area right now but I will just keep my child with me all day before I am practically bullied into paying first class prices for below average care. They dont even allow you to schedule less than 40 hours a week. They were a waste of money. Oh and my daughter got sick which she had never had issues until she started there.

After being a stay-at-home mom for 3 years, I was terrified to learn that I had to return to work…read morefull-time. I wasn't sure where to leave my 3 year old. Creative Child was recommended to me by a friend from church. She knows the director personally, because the director teaches Sunday school/religion classes to her child. When I first arrived, I was welcomed to take a tour of the center. The director was friendly and answered all of my questions. She reassured me and made me feel at ease. My 3 year old has been going there for 3 months. I couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful and the director cares for the children there as if they were her own. My child did have a few issues adjusting and lashed out at her teacher, but we all met and figured out the best way to handle it. The director (and teacher) were very understanding and offered worked with us to resolve the issue. I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with my child. I'm so glad for Creative Child!

While I do enjoy most of the teachers at Creative Child, I don't care for the way the director…read moreoperates her business. Unless you have a very mild mannered 2-5 year old, who never acts out or misbehaves, I would not recommend this place. I wanted to pull her out for months but instead, kept working with them on things so I didn't have to add anymore changes to my daughter's life. Well, let's just say I wish I would've pulled her much sooner. The director also spoke to me as if I were a child, spoke to me poorly about my child and then behaved like a child once I gave my 2 week notice. Positive thing is most of the actual teachers are caring and have good programs for the children throughout the day.

After I had my child there for a few years being a picky eater brought lunch with to the center…read morewhich was okayed with the owner. One day I was sent home with a full lunch box. I asked why they didn't give the lunch I was told "oh we are a nut free facility now" no where was it posted and this info is to be posted by state law. I asked well did you at give something to eat? Oh yeah we gave an apple...seriously a child had an apple all day when we got in the car my child was so hungry he/she was crying. I put in snacks that were nut free the male teacher at the time slammed the wrapper down showing me is was made in a nut facility and not allowed. That was the last straw I pulled him out. Terrible place who don't care if children eat or not. To this day my child remembers this like it was yesterday thank God it isn't. I would give a zero star put had to put some thing.

Based on the location my wife and I toured this facility a few weeks ago. We had hoped that we…read more would go with them for both of our children because it's close to home, my office, and the church we attend. The director had forget about our appointment and nobody there had any idea we even had a tour scheduled. We sat in the lobby for fifteen minutes until they found someone to walk us around. While waiting for an employee, I walked aboud the building and was surprised just how dirty this day care is. The floors were messy and marred, the bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned in days. My shoes stuck to the ground when I walked, the trash was over flowing, it smelled like a bathroom at a tavern. I was surprised how much dust was on the picture frames that have their employees photos in them. It's a nice presentation and a great idea to showcase the staff, but it gives the opposite impression. About twenty minutes past our appointment an assistant manager showed us around. She wasn't very friendly and I had the impression that she thought had better things to be doing. When we arrived at the room where my younger child would be in, there was a stong smell of mold. That was a huge red flag. We decided to cut the tour short, we new this wasn't a clean or healthy place for children. When I didn't think it could get much worse, I spotted two employees smoking around the back of the building. The reason I decided to give them two stars instead of one is their pricing is lower then a few in the area. So if you're looking for a cheap daycare, and don't care about cleanliness or the possibility of mold this might be a good fit.
