The food is good, the service is average, but the wifi is fast and they let you hang out as long as you want. It's a great place to hang out for a few hours to get some work done. Sugary! Kind of dry with fruit filling.

They also make good deserts that are far superior to anywhere else in town. There are a lot less pastries with nata which is good. They have nice croissants as well but I don't like the sweet glaze they put on top. Just leave the butter croissant alone.

The business started in a small…read morelocation away from the city center, but their success made them expand and now there are several La Canasta bakeries, including this one in the historic center of Malaga. We had passed by a few times and there was always a line. Hands down, best shop in Malaga Centro and we've tried them all over the course of 13 weeks across two summers. First, let's start with the staff. These folks are great, literally all of them. Pleasant, patient, conversational and very intentional in the food and beverage preparation! We love coming here, partially because we like the staff so much. Next, the place is so perfect. Like seriously the ideal coffee shop. Not too large, not to small. Very clear brand and theme. Plenty of seating. Clean and crisp - we love coming here and just hanging out with our coffee. Finally, the menu! The menu is great. Of course the coffee is excellent, the espresso is absolutely perfect not bitter or over roasted. Pricing is perfect! But the hidden gem is the brunch, their toasts, literally all of them, are sooooo good. Burrata, Salmon, Avocado, or Salmon and Avocado - you cannot go wrong! Look, sometimes, some secrets are too good to keep. I don't want y'all crowding up my favorite coffee shop, but they're too good not to share!

Despite your ice cream being 2/3 come, the cone is not good because it is very stale. This is clearly a tourist shop because the quality is very much lacking.
