I would not…read morerecommend using their inflatable waterpark due to barnacles that can cut you and possibly lead to an infection. Most of the negative reviews here are all for the floating waterpark experience. Moving on, we booked online for renting their jet skis and came in to sign our waivers. If you have anyone in your party under 25 years old who will drive a jet ski or boat, they are required to get a license (anyone born on or after January 1st, 1988). Navarre Family Watersports provides a Florida Boaters Temporary Safety Certificate after they pass a test, which takes about 30 minutes to complete. The certificate is valid for 30 days. Our instructor was great. He went over all the proper safety protocols, explained how to operate this particular model of jet ski, answered all our questions, and took us around for about an hour. Then we had another hour to enjoy ourselves. We did the two-hour ride. You get to cruise around the east side of the Navarre Beach Causeway Bridge, which is the Santa Rosa Sound to Makaph Island (Spectre) and back. Keep in mind that they will tell you there are no sharks in the Santa Rosa Sound. However, the Pensacola Bay, East Bay, and Santa Rosa Sound are all fed from the Gulf. It's saltwater... We had no issues, and the noise will scare the sharks and stingrays away. Dolphins, on the other hand, will follow you around for a bit, which is super cool. My kids came back another day and did the ropes course, which they loved. Overall, we had a great time. I would recommend their jetskis and obstacle course. [Review #711] (9th Review of 2024)

Here's the review with spelling and grammar corrections:…read more We rented a pontoon here at Navarre Beach Pontoon Rentals two weeks ago and had a great experience. The guys had us all sign waivers on our phones, explained how everything works, and helped us get on and off the pontoon. If you are going out, go with their best boat. The 24-footer we had was the 150HP Tritoon. For $375 for almost 5 hours, it is well worth it compared to their 90HP pontoon for $275. The weather could not have been better during our rental. It was sunny with not a cloud in the sky. We stopped at several different islands on the Santa Rosa Sound. Probably the best place to stop is Spectre Island. The sand is soft and bright white. They do limit how far you can go out on the half-day rental. You are limited to the east part of the Santa Rosa Sound. Fort Walton Beach Bridge (Miracle Strip Pkwy) is the farthest you can go. If you want to go to Crab Island (party island) or visit Pensacola Beach (west of the Navarre Beach Bridge), you need to get the full-day rental. If the weather is good, I recommend bringing a fishing pole. I wish I did... darn... Overall, this was a fantastic time for our family. We had a blast. Just make sure to bring lots of water, sunscreen, hats, towels, light snacks, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the rays. The water is very nice, and it does get HOT out on the sound. Good family fun. [Review #715] (13th Review of 2024)

To add to what the other reviewers have stated, I will say that Smitty is a fantastic person who is clearly knowledgeable, passionate, and respectful of the beach (fish, ecosystem, etc) and people. We learned so much and he gave us 110% the entire time that we were with him. There is no doubt that when we book our next vacation in the Navarre/Pensacola Beach area - Smitty is the next call! Beach fishing is unique and Smitty has top quality gear, excellent skills, and drive for making customers happy. He stays on top of what is going on fish-wise in the area so he always knows where to go. No doubt at all - we will be back! Rob

We rented 3 seadoo's for 4 people on a perfect Monday afternoon. 1 seadoo was shared by me and a 13 year old, the other two by 2 adults (18 and 40ish :) The seadoo's were fast, comfortable and easy to use. The staff fully explained all of the ins and outs. The two guys manning the hut were super friendly and helpful. We paid $90 per hour for each seadoo. We choose to buy the $5 insurance per vehicle. LOCATION: Located conveniently in the bay on the right just before crossing into the Navarre Beach island. There's not a lot of intercoastal waterway traffic to get in your way.. One nice benefit is the Sailors Grille and Juan Pagoda's right next door. After our ride we had a nice afternoon of food and drinks while enjoying views of the bay and people playing volleyball. If you want bar food, Juan Pagoda's ToGo bites can be purchased and enjoyed on the beach area (food looked good, we didn't buy anything) If there's one negative I'd say it's the size of the bay available for riding the seadoo's. I mean it's a big area for sure, but some riders may find it limiting. OTHER: You can rent kayak's, pontoon boats and other stuff. See their website for more info. RATING NOTES 5: should be the best experience you could've possibly had for that type of business. 3 or 4: this is certainly not a negative. Just means average to above average. 2: basically denotes a below average experience. 1: on the flipside this way over used rating should be reserved basically if someone died (so to speak), bug in food, etc. Sorry big baby millennials, if your food takes five minutes too long that's not a one star review.
