I went on a Tues evening so it wasn't as crowded. Inside was easy to check in. They gave me a colored chip to set near my dining set so the servers know what type of meal to bring me. Bathrooms were also right outside and very convenient. Dinner was five courses. Chef Anna was innovative and created our dishes to perfection. We started with a yummy crostini made of goat cheese, strawberries, and balsamic. Then a summer salad followed made with berries and sliced almonds. Third course was a fruit sorbet as a palette cleanser in between. Fourth and fifth courses consisted of what guests ordered individually online upon purchasing their tickets to the show. I chose the mac and cheese with the veggie lasagna. Mac and cheese was amazing! By the time I started on my lasagna, I was already pretty full. It tasted more like a vegan lasagna rather than a veggie one. I tasted shredded bits of coconut that may have been vegan cheese. Lastly, for dessert it was a lovely strawberry shortcake. We were all well fed and satisfied by the time Magician Anjo came out. Because we were a smaller crowd of six guests, we got a more intimate experience with Anjo, who was great by the way! Very funny and entertaining. In the course of 45 minutes, he did quite a few various tricks for us including one with playing cards and one with golf balls. The one with the money at the end was probably his best trick! Anjo restored my faith in magic! :D Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a cool magic show with great food, superb staff, and amazing vibes all around.

I had trouble with the elk meatball pasta. The balls were very tough and tasted gamey. The pasta wasn't thick pappardelle ribbons as noted on the menu, but rather thin like linguine. The $18+ dollar soups were anticlimactic (especially for the price) and needed more substance. The children's pasta was very salty and wasn't made with homemade pasta. The salmon entree looked beautiful on the plate however the fish was medium rare to rare and not as flaky as I hoped. The blue sauce had no actual flavor and was scant. The papaya salad was weird to say the least and tough. Possibly the worst plate of food had to have been the salad I've pictured, with some spotted radicchio. Super bitter and inedible. We sent it away and noticed the table next to us also complain about theirs. The other salad that we replaced it with was just okay and needed more elements. On a positive note, the staff were really friendly and polite and the complimentary bread with honey butter was delicious. My recommendation is to skip this restaurant and walk down to the Steak Pit.

Stopped here on our way to the Utah Capital Building - weather it was to or from I cannot remember. The first impression was warmth- it was chilly outside with the snow and the gloom that comes with it, and this place felt like a little cabin in the middle of nowhere- not exactly nowhere, but there were very few places that were open for food, and fewer still with vegetarian options, so really , this felt like Joseph Smith was smiling down on me ;) ...... no, no, not being religious, just remember the feeling of blessed and ...'Oh my god! we found an open restaurant with veg food'.... We were famished, so whatever pics I have is before the food arrived, as after we were engrossed it gobbling it down. It took a while for the food to arrive, as everything was made inhouse, fresh and probably we were the only vegetarians there that day. The order consisted of Moroccan Cauliflower, Grilled brussels sprouts and customized Angel Hair pasta. They were more than accommodating and sensitive to our needs, which I very much appreciated......see...blessed..... Salt Lake City is special for me, as this was the first place I lived at length when I first came to US on work many years ago. That time I was just visiting. After it was gone, we kept trying different bars hoping to find that same feeling, and honestly, nothing really compared--until now. First off, the food. I am massively picky about my onion rings, and these absolutely hit. The food is always fantastic, and I really love their burgers. They also have some great beer options and some really good cocktails. They really embrace that Sunday night football life, which we love, but even when there's not a game, it's just a great place to come after work, grab a beer, and shoot the shit. The owner is insanely chill, and I absolutely love the cooks and servers. Everyone is so friendly, and it genuinely has that family-establishment feeling. You walk in and immediately feel comfortable and welcome. It's honestly hard to find a really great bar these days, but every time we come here, we have a blast. I'm excited to see how this place continues to grow. The seats are super comfortable, everything is really clean, and I love the dark, moody vibe. It gives it that old-school bar feeling that we've been missing. Safe to say, this is going to be our football hangout for the season!

Our servers Errington (sorry if that's a misspell) and the trainer Mallory were phenomenal and I could not even tell Mallory was training! She was personable and articulate and I feel as though she is already ready to go. Lastly, the barback Jinx is PHENOMENAL! They were quick to fill in any gaps, putting in drink orders for us, checking on quality, clearing plates. Which isn't even to mention how bright and personable they were. They had a distinct personality and presence that substantially elevated our experience. Overall phenomenal night!

People, that's a big deal. I'm a die-hard cheese hater, so for a restaurant to convince me otherwise is breaking news. I enjoyed the strawberry and halloumi salad-cautiously. I asked for the halloumi on the side, just in case it didn't land right. Then, I tentatively took a bite. Whatever magic they sprinkle on that is Heavenly, and I quite enjoyed it. The vibe here is upscale but energetic (read: loud.) It's not a quiet dining experience; this is the place you come to celebrate a promotion at work with your friends or a milestone birthday.
