As part of my friends birthday we visited for afternoon tea, and it was just perfect, the owners could not have been nicer, they even put a birthday candle in the scone !! now that is personal service we don't often se any more. If You are around St Ives / Penzance it is well worth a visit and a nice day to enjoy they old world charm and relax with the birds in the Garden.

The salad bar is good though. This is half pub, half restaurant. The pub part is very forgettable as there doesn't seem to be a permanent member of staff at the bar and the drinks range is very limited. I guess it is more about the restaurant, where the service is very friendly.
