The best dental group I've ever used. Capable, timely, polite, caring and affordable. Don't hesitate - just call them.

To say I'm frustrated would be an understatement. I scheduled a consultation for my 11-year-old…read moredaughter regarding an expose and bond procedure for an impacted tooth, and we waited nearly a month for this appointment. I took my daughter out of school and provided the necessary X-rays from our orthodontist, only to be informed that additional images were required. After finally seeing the doctor, I was then told that this office does not offer sedation for children and that we would need to go elsewhere for treatment. While I appreciate being informed of this, I am incredibly frustrated that this critical detail was not discussed when I initially scheduled the appointment. A few simple questions at the time of booking could have saved us both time and money. I was unaware that not all periodontists offer sedation, and this lack of communication made the experience feel misleading. To add to my disappointment, I was told--without any real concern--that I was still responsible for the estimated consultation fee, despite the fact that the office was unable to provide the necessary treatment. This entire process was a waste of time and money, and now I have start over with a different provider.

Dr. Hamal is excellent. I came to her with an emergency...She discovered extensive root decay where…read morean older molar crown had popped off after the second time it was cemented (by a previous dentist.) It was a difficult case. She was surprised I had not felt more discomfort from the infection before coming in. She worked for quite a while to remove all of the decay, as it was a hot mess. She kept the area pain-free for me during the procedure. (And...bonus...I had more energy once my body was not fighting that infection.) Afterwards, she presented me with options about what I could do next. I opted for a dental implant. Her wonderful, efficient staff presented me with an accurate estimate, explaining how and why any treatment charges were slightly more than my dental coverage. (It's nice to know this information in advance.) Again, each subsequent procedure was painless. In my case, there was minimal swelling and bleeding. I'm sure each patient's gum condition and healing outcome is different, but I would trust Dr. Hamal to be able to navigate those differences. She is practical, empathetic, forthcoming...an experienced, skillful professional. I highly recommend her.

If I could, I will definitely give this place a ZERO star. I don't think they deserve any stars…read more This is the rudest dental clinic I have ever been to in my entire life. I went to my appointment today at 3:25pm (scheduled at 3:30pm). They kept me waiting till 3:43pm and then finally started to take my x-rays. For some reason the dental assistant was obviously working with an attitude. I checked emails on my phone a few times when she was setting up the x-ray machine and she was like "Maybe you should reschedule to another appointment because I cannot do the x-ray when you are on your phone." This is simply wrong. I checked my emails before she actually started to do my x-ray and she was all acting like she were my mom and threw her attitudes at me. I did not argue with her on this and just followed her command to finish the x-ray. She said doctor will be with me in 10 minutes. I waited for 20 minutes there but I need to get back to attend a work meeting after this appointment so I asked the receptionist how much longer should I wait (my intention was if I need to wait longer I can probably come back later for the results). For some reason this dental assistant heard what I'm asking and started to lose her temper. She almost screamed at me with a very loud voice saying "There are someone before you who needs doctor's attention". I then said "Maybe next time you guys can schedule the appointment better so no one's time is wasted." She said "Oh you think your time is wasted? What about our time?" I further explained "That's not what I meant. I just said maybe you guys can schedule fewer people together during the same hour so we do not need to wait that long." Then she started to misinterpret my words by saying "You think your time is more valuable than others?" Then she said she is out and there is no way she will handle my case... I left the clinic afterwards. I feel I'm not treated with respect. I raised my valid concerns but she thought I was attacking her for not doing her job well (which is kind of true as well). I think she is very unprofessional. This is a country of free speech. I'm a customer there and I cannot even express my own honest opinions? What kind of place is that, a clinic inside a prison? For god's sake it's me paying them for my service, not the other way around. If they keep treating customers like this, well, good luck to their business! BTW, they have only one doctor, one dental assistant, one receptionist working there but I saw at least 4 patients either waiting in the lobby or waiting inside the room. I don't think they ever respect customers and value customers' time. I will NOT recommend this clinic at all!

I feel that I need to take the time to write a review of my dentist to try to convey how awesome…read morethe whole office is. When I was finally out of the clutches of OSU student health, and looking for a dentist of my own I had a sneaking suspicion that I had approximately 75 cavities (at least). I went to the googles in search of someone able to handle my multiple dental issues. I saw that Dr. Baloy was the team dentist for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and looked no further. I figured if he could handle hockey mouths, I'd be no problem. From the very beginning, I felt welcome in the office. The staff is SO nice, and no one judged me for having at least one cavity in each quadrant of my mouth (sure they gently suggested perhaps I should learn to floss, but it's their job!). Dr. Baloy did a fantastic job tackling the cavities, and referring me to an endodontist AND a periodontist (I'm telling you, my oral hygiene is not that bad, it's genetics!) when needed. The office is set up to be very open and airy and there are lovely photographs to stare at while you're waiting for your gums to get numb. To summarize - Very nice, professional staff; great service; bright and clean office. It makes going to the dentist not that bad after all.

I came on my first visit I was completely impressed by the atmosphere, they even have charges for your cell phone if you need it. I sat down in the lady kept asking me if I have insurance, I informed her that I did but she keep asking as if she didn't believe me. Then Kelly took very through x-rays and she knows how to put you at ease as if you are at Disney world. The people here are great, but some rough patches with communication. It was discovered that I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal, which I feared would be the case. So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.
