Since I've had no architect helping me with construction, my plans changed several times throughout the planning phase and I've been helped every time without complaints, though I am sure I've been one of the more complicated customers. The doors themselves are wonderfully built and add value to the apartment and don't feel cheap at all (whereas some of the competitors seem to). In general these doors might be ever so slightly more expensive, but please do yourself a favor and go for it. You will not regret it.

My job requirements were quite large and complex for a residential sliding panel installation. I needed to have an existing fixed wall knocked down between bedroom and living room, plus new closets built, and construction of a frame -- with a new header and studs at each end -- to hold the panels. Plus substantial work to level the existing floor and install new oak to hold the floor tracks, as well as the six 4' wide by 10' high panels themselves. The panels and contractor workmanship are of the highest quality. The visual realization of the panel design is utterly pleasing and integrated with the apartment as a whole. As important, the strong and precise design of the panels allows them to move effortlessly on their tracks, which I might add, essentially disappear into the floor. The recommended contractor showed up on time and made substantial progress each day. They did the heavy lifting of accepting and moving the doors into the apartment. The contractor was entirely trustworthy in keeping to his reasonable estimate and delivering the promised work. Finally, the men cleaned the space each day after their work, to keep the apartment livable during construction. I have supplied photos of the final installation, which will immediately support my comments, to the manager of the NYC Raumplus office. I recommend the Raumplus products, and the independent contractor, to any residential or commercial customer for small or very substantial jobs.

I contracted this company in 2017 to do some major renovations in my very first property I owned. I…read morenever had lived in a house before, and to me everything was so new. I had very limited experience with contractors. This company won me over but guaranteeing their work and servicing for "several years". Here is my opinion of them, after a year and a half since they "finished" their work: 1. quality of work: - POOR. They try to do many things "in-house", where their same workers being universally skilled at almost everything and therefore masters at nothing. Quality is from INTERMEDIATE to POOR. Many things had to be re-done, The would break one thing while fixing another, they keep creating more problems as they go along. They would also mislead me into believing that they do certain types of work (electric floor heating) , when they had no experience at all. They did not properly size the area, and installed electric wiring in the floor in a very unsafe and inefficient way, which caused the thermostat to trip. They persuaded me to install the electrical heated floors in the areas, that will never require it, simply due to physics. 2. Third Party Contracting: For come of the work they would hire another company. For the most part they would do the cheapest, low quality work, that would need to be re-done, due to safety concerns. For example they hired a company to install stairs. The quality was so bad, that the steps would start collapsing. I had to warn them of impending injury and wait for a while for them to get it repaired. 3. Procrastination / Abandonment: Even after I repeatedly warned them to winterize the house plumbing, they failed to do it and caused damage to the house. They also failed to secure /remove construction garbage /debris from my property, (despite my repeated warnings) which flew through out the neighborhood and cause me to get multiple violations from the village. They would also disappear for weeks, in the middle of work. I would later find out that they work on another property. 4. Price vs Quality: As I mentioned the quality ranged from MEDIUM to LOW, but the fees they charged where on par with very nicely done, expensive professional work. 5. Warranty. They did not honor their promise and about 8-9 months after they finished, I started having plumbing issues (they installed plumbing). They dont respond to repeated WhatsUp messages or the phone texts or calls. But the funny thing is that I dont trust them, so I rather pay someone else to fix it, rather having them come over and risking them break something else. In summary, I would definitely not recommend Royalties International Inc.

Abe from Lifta came out and gave an honest assessment of my garage floor fix and proposed many options and color schemes to fit my requirements. He promptly gave me a quote the next day scheduled start date on the same week. The Lifta Epoxy Flooring team arrived on time and with proper face coverings and started work on the floor. They properly prepare the floor which requires a complete sanding of the surface and repairing cracks before you can start applying layers. While his team worked he displayed real examples of all the endless textures and colors that can be applied. I took the silver base with gray swirls and metallic sparkles. The job took a total of three days (part-time) as each layer of coating (Adhesion, base, swirl, clear coat layer) needs ample time to dry and cure. In the end, the epoxy flooring looks amazing and I'm so happy with this work knowing it's also going to be a great investment into the value of my property.
