So we've been coming here for the last couple of months now, and while I can't say that our dancing is a whole lot better, we've certainly had a ton of fun trying to learn.
They've made some upgrades to the interior recently, and it's starting to get a little more organized then it was initially. There are 4 main rooms for lessons, and at night when we go there are usually at least 2-3 classes going on, but there's enough room to move, and you don't feel overly cramped.
Our instructor, Fabio, is great. He's super friendly, patient, and doesn't make you feel like and idiot when you mess up every step! So if you're looking for a good spot to try your hand at learning a few new dance moves, Salsa Republic is a pretty good choice. Plus, in an added bonus, there are no windows for people to look in from the streets and laugh at you, so that's a huge bonus in my book! read more
