One of us felt unwell a few hours before a lesson and sent a text to see if we could reschedule. We were told abruptly and shortly before the lesson was due to commence that this wasn't possible. Considering how tolerant we'd felt we'd been with changing teacher this seemed very rough. We then received an abrasive phone call ... all in all, poor service and horrible customer experience. We fully understand why there would be a cancellation clause but how this was communicated and enforced was very poor. Would not recommend.

Watch out for Latin Junction. Back in October I wanted to try their classes so signed up to what i…read morethought was one month of unlimited classes. I was sent a receipt for my month of classes and only managed to attend one class which was enjoyable. I quickly realised it was unrealistic of me to think that i could attend regularly due to many personal commitments and thought I would wear the cost of that one month and not sign up for another month. 6 months later I am reconciling my credit card and discover I have been billed for a further 5 months. Not a single receipt since the one that told me my classes expired on the 24/11/14 and no follow up in 6 months on why i was paying for something i wasn't using. When i rang them to ask what was going on. They basically told me I had made a mistake and it was irrelevant that i hadn't gone to any any classes and I would have to wear the $900 I paid for one class. I went back through the sign up process and still stand by my understanding that I was paying for just one month. Their terms and conditions on signing up do not fully display on the screen and I only saw the bottom two points. At no point did it mention my credit card was going to be debited for ever more until I noticed and gave them notice of cancellation. Time and time again it highlights that the classes expire a month after initial payment. There is a 3 and 6 month option that is significantly cheaper than their (in their view) ongoing monthly option. How does that work? So how did the team at Latin Junction respond? Did they offer me a refund or apologise for their confusing website. No, they have now banned me from all future classes and haven't even offered to refund me this next months $150 which came out of my account yesterday. They did however suggest that if I knew any 'nice' people they might be able to give them some sort of voucher. Great customer service guys........
