The food is really good. The service is very slow. Plus, they advertise the double meat and charge + $2.50 extra. Which is absolutely not worth it. When I called them back and told them. They wanted me to bring it to them tomorrow so I can get a refund since they were going to close soon. I understand about showing her proof and getting a refund. The problem was that she tried to say that the tacos with the "extra" meat was with the al pastor tacos . You can clearly see that there is no difference between the regular tacos and the "extra" meat. There customer service needs to improve drastically.

    $1.50 tacos on Mondays

Taco Monday, Taco Tuesday, I am all about Taco any day of the week. Salsa Grille Taqueria is right inside George's International Grocery to the left. It is small with an open view to the kitchen. Even though it is not a super big space, there are numerous tables, a few booths, and a countertop with high top chairs. My go-to at this Salsa Grille location are their tacos. Carnitas, asada, and chicken are my favorites. Served taqueria style with onions and cilantro with a side of salsa verde. Delicious! Sometimes the meat is hit or miss on how juicy it is/can be dry sometimes but they still are a win for a meal in my book. The tortillas are always soft and never crispy - definitely taste fresh! Their chips and different salsa are must too! Make sure you grab an order with your tacos! P.S. Tacos are $2/each and $1.50/each on Mondays! Everybody scream Taco Monday!

You have to come here for breakfast! 99 cent tacos that are filled with pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, and your choice of either bacon, sausage, or chorizo. Even comes with chips and salsa!

This place is amazing. It's a small taqueria inside of the international grocery store, but it is big in taste! The carne asade was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the Nachos are massive! And the price is right too! $2 tacos and $6 for a huge plate of chorizo nachos. Great authentic Mexican food for a great price. Can't beat it!

    Take out tacos!

Love, love, love their tacos. They are affordable and made fresh. My top three would be the steak, pork carnitas, and chorizo. They have a variety of delicious salsas and their habanero queso and fresh guac is amazing. I would also recommend their burritos which are huge. It's perfect for take out!

    That's a perfect lunch!

Yummy steak tacos. Restrooms are very oddly located behind the meat counter in a dingy back room area...but the tacos make up for it co

Sure, I guess I can stretch my legs on a gorgeous July day while eating cheese. Man. This is what I live for! This was my first Midwest cheese shop, and it was quite the experience! They had plenty of samples and a great selection of products at amazing prices. Who would have ever thought that cheese curds come in that many flavors? I bought a few items, which were all excellent in quality. You can also watch the cheesemaking process from the shop, which was quite interesting. There was nothing fancy about the shop, but it was incredibly clean and the workers were friendly. It was definitely worth the 20-25 minute or so detour through Amish country from the interstate to this gem. I regret not buying more cheese there but considering I was away from home, I tried to limit myself. If I would have known that what I purchased was so tasty (and well priced), I would have bought some more cheese to take through six states with me. Definitely recommend this shop to locals and passerbys--don't forget your cooler, road trippers!

Mike's also mentioned a "small job fee" - small job meaning our 190 feet of privacy fencing. In the end it was a good thing they dawdled and couldn't start for another month, because it gave Double R a chance to come quote the fence; which included more and cost less! They were recommended by a friend who knew the owner, Marion, and that he had taken over his father's Amish origin family business. This is a company that doesn't know how to do a bad job - and they take care of everything along the way. I didn't have time to clear a fence line, which Mike's required, but Marion at Double R took care of it for us. In the end, we had a fence that was flush and didn't look pieced together like those built using panels. We are beyond happy with the new fence! If you just want a fence, call a fencing company and they'll put up panels for you. If you want quality, hand set fencing that looks great, call Marion at Double R.
