This salon is so welcoming and warming. The decor is cute and comforting. Felt so at home and comfortable. More so was my stylist, Becky, who listened to all my needs and gave me the best haircut and highlights I have ever had. I have gottten so many nice compliments on my new hair and I can't thank Becky enough for her amazing talent and making me feel so relaxed through my entire experience. Had the pleasure to meet the owner, Angela, who was so grateful for the business and should feel very proud for the business she has built. Great location, wonderful service. I will never go anywhere else! Thank you girls so much for such a great experience and expert talent and service. There was a gentleman in the same time as me and a young lady waiting. What a great place to bring the whole family. Quaint and wonderful attention to detail. Already set up my next appointment! read more

I love this place! It reminds me of some of those great movies like Runaway Bride, Barbershop and same -like movies that show stylists and all of their customers chatting together about work, friends, family and anything under the sun that makes them laugh and feel good. This is a true feel-good place! Hair salons should be a place you can go and escape from the hustle and bustle of life while socializing and making dear friends along the way and Vanilla is that place. It's a quaint little spot that has a trendy atmosphere and the hair care is phenomenal. I got low lights, a cut and a Brazillian blow out and my hair looks and feels amazing!!! Goodbye Pantene--hello Davines products. Thank you Becky and Angela for a great hair salon experience, because at Vanilla its more than just about hair, it's about building friendships. read more

We recently moved here from NY and I was in search of finding a salon where I could get a good haircut & color. After doing some research on salons in the Lake Norman area of Mooresville I decided on Salon Vanilla . Angela ( the owner ) is the sweetest , nicest, kindest and most meticulous hair stylist I've ever been to . She gave me a great cut and I am very pleased with the color, too . If you're in need of a top notch hair stylist I highly recommend you give Angela owner of Salon Vanilla a call . I am happy to say that I found my go to hair salon . read more

Let me start with the fact that I never give 5 star reviews. Angela deserves 10 Stars!!! I saw her for the first time today and left her salon feeling like a movie star! I love my hair to point of Kim Kardashian selfies. I've sent roughly 2,738,393 pictures of myself to my husband. Oh, and true to LKN, everyone in there, clients and stylists alike, kindest people you will ever meet. I'm so HAPPY!!!!! Thank you, Angela for listening to me AND knowing exactly what to do. I had my first appointment here with Alayna. I was beyond pleased with the results and the price was great! I had to have my summer blonde hair dyed back to my natural brown. The blonde hair was very dry and I didn't think it could be saved but Alayna was able to color it back to brown and my hair feels heathy and alive again. There products are priced fairly and I will have no problem returning for my next hair cut! read more

However, the original incorrect Sept appointment was never canceled (I kept getting text messages about it and had to call AGAIN on 9/22 to get it canceled again), and the new Oct appointment was never booked!! On 10/14, I called AGAIN and this time asked for a refund for the remaining two facial ($164) as I was unsuccessful in getting them booked. The woman on the phone put me on hold so that I could speak to the owner. When Barbara came to the phone, she said she wouldn't give me a refund and would have to talk to the owner. I said, "You ARE the owner, and I know you can give a refund." She said she had to talk to the other owner (aka: her husband, Ron) and would call me back right away.
