The options are a cash tip or independently going into Venmo to send a personal tip. The receptionist explained to me that the owner does not want to pay taxes on tip money, so she does not allow her employees to be tipped in a typical way. I'm sure the IRS will catch up eventually, but for now I won't give another dime to a business owner who doesn't feel she owes the community a fair tax burden, and effectively limits the tips her staff receive. Full offense, but don't open a small business if you don't feel its fair to pay taxes.
