The only reason I am not giving 5 out of 5, is because the original stylist, Alicia H., still does work there and I would like to warn people before booking with her. Kudos to Kayla and Christopher for being amazing stylists and owners. Yes, I would return to the salon, but only with Kayla and Christopher doing the appointment. Original Review Post: When scheduling my appointment I requested a color specialist. I wanted a plum for my hair. I was messaged back, and an appointment was scheduled w/ a stylist that confirmed they could do color. Sent photos w/ hair color of what I wanted. I was sent a message assuring me that the request could be done. I was given a price of over $350 for what I wanted due to the process, and that it would take the majority of the day. I literally took off work to get my hair done! Showed up on time, so excited to get my hair done. The stylist did not face me to the mirror. She kept my back to it. She bleached my hair. After bleaching my hair, we discovered that she didn't even have the correct color, again I sent pics. After waiting for the stylist to go and buy the correct color, she came back with the incorrect color: magenta! I found out after she put it on my hair! My hair turned out pink!! The stylist didn't even act like the pink was an issue. I kept saying it's pink. The stylist went to another employee and asked for help. The other stylist (Christopher) gave two bottles of another color to try and get my hair to the color I had requested. After having to sit for another round of coloring, I was done! The stylist when telling me she was complete, had dye all over me. I just wanted to leave. I had been there over 5 hours!! In the salon the stylist didn't show me the final product, no holding up a mirror or look at this. It was I am done. When I went to leave, she still charged full price!!! $360. When I questioned the price, she replied she wasn't charging me for the double color!! I just wanted to get out of there. I honestly did not realize how horrible it was until I got home and was able to actually look at it. My hair is not even fully colored!! There are streaks all through it!! I am still trying to get the color off my face, ears, and neck. There was color left in my hair that I had to wash out myself! One of the worst experiences of my life!!! Still trying to process all of it and figure out what I am going to have to do to correct my hair. I did reach out to the salon and stylist stated they would not do anything to correct my hair. The reply from Alicia H(stylist): "Im sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the final result I wish you would have told me that at the salon and we could have came up with another way to try and please you.. but given that we used 4 tubes of color and 2 scoops of lightener and 4 hours of my time I am unable to provide a refund for this service.. I'm not totally sure why your hair didn't take to the color it was supposed to be it could be maybe a medication you're on or anything but given that we tried 2 different colors 1 Magenta and 1 totally purple I'm unsure why the color did not stick.. if you'd like to rebook another color service we can try and fix the color that you currently have but that's all I can in good conscious offer to you." I also spent 5 hrs unpaid to get my hair done today! It was not my place to question a professional on their job, that includes tubes of color. I provided what I wanted and agreed to pay for that service. The owner has reached out to me. The owner and co-owner have let me know that the stylist in the shop rent booths, and that the owners do not have the ability to refund the amount of money. The owners are booking me for another appointment w/ them. Stay tuned. Hopefully, I will be able to update this review and post some amazing photos of what I paid for. It sooooo is not even close to the pictures I showed her! Cut straight across in the back - no tapering - very boxy looking. My hair waa also cut much shorter than the picture I showed her, so disappointed in that regard as well. The front, while cut shorter around my face, again was not like the picture I showed. My cut is ... ok, BUT it certainly is NOT what I was hoping for! Not EVEN close! Noticed she cut the woman's hair prior to mine very boxy looking as well. The owner Teresa does a great job and actually listens to what the customer wants. She uses good products and is a superb colorist. I am less picky about color as long as it isn't gray. The lady was nice at first and told me that it would be 40$, also that it was by appointment only and no walk-ins. I told her that was fine and they had a couch and it was cool in there so I asked if me, my husband, and my one year old son could sit in there for like 2 mins just to cool off before walking home. Her response was "no hun there is a restaurant down the road." Which was just rude. I had my baby and my face was absolutely blood red. I'm not saying everyone there is bad! Just this older lady was! Think twice before getting your haircut here again!!

The ends of the layers were all uneven and blunt. I asked for it to be smoothed a bit and the stylist said if she kept going it was going to be uneven so I just cut my losses and left. Went to JCP to get it fixed. I asked the salon for a refund and the stylist called me and told me that choppy layers are blended layers and that's why she gave me the blunt layers, that she had 15 years of experience and I didn't know what I was talking about. She denied saying that it would be uneven if she tried to fix it. Just an awful experience overall.
