Our wedding stylists cancelled less than weeks out from wedding day. Frantically I hit the phone book calling salons in the area. This wasn't your traditional wedding either, we had not one but TWO brides which meant for two MOHs and we all needed hair and make up done for D-Day. Heather and Sherri were eager to help when I called to beg and plea if they could squeeze us all in. With a few tweaks, not only could they squeeze us in they were very respectful about making sure the brides didn't overlap and ruin the reveal for the alter. What a feat to take on! I was able to send texts to the stylists at salon of what the ladies wanted; because there simply wasn't any time to have a run through or meeting until the morning of the wedding. And if you're reading this and didn't think that was accommodating, they made time by cancelling or cutting their lunches so that BOTH mothers' of the brides got some pampering too... THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING. Dakota, Erica, Heather, Sherri, Lori, Rachel, Brooke, and I hope I'm not forgetting anyone... thank you for going above and beyond for these very special ladies. You guys made them feel and look like a million bucks; the smiles on their faces were priceless and unforgettable on the biggest day of their lives. Oh, and special shoutout to Lori who did my hair-- I rocked that up-do for two solid days it was so fly! This experience was a little better than my visit last year. The biggest and best thing that…read morehappened was: I did not have a massive abscess in my gum lining. I did, however, had several broken teeth and a few that were on the gum line. My surgery was in March and the prep work was fine and I understood what needed to be done from my end. The day of surgery went well. I was actually put under unlike last year when I was awake for about 90% of the procedure. Post op recovering was painful, as you can expect. I am the poor soul who cannot take any NSAID meds so the swelling caused a great deal of pain. I called the after hours hotline and was told to take an extra dose of pain meds sooner than when it was due. I informed the doctor that I was only given 10 pain pills and I am wanting to ration them since they are few and if I run out I do not feel comfortable in asking for more because I would then be labeled as a "seeker". His only other advice was for me to take IBU. I informed him that I cannot take them as I am highly allergic to it. He had nothing else to tell me to do for pain relief. So I, begrudgingly, took a dose that was an hr earlier than when it was due. Long story short: I went back to get my screws implanted in my posts and, I had no idea that this is what was going to happen until I got there, that he had to numb my gums and cut along the line of my gums to to get to my holes. Lets just say that no matter how many times he numbed my right side it would not take. My gum line was white from no circulation and when he cut on that side I screamed out and said: what the hell man??!! Why did you not do this while I was under sedation? All he did was laugh at what I said. I then said: I was not making a joke. Now that this is over, I am beyond thrilled that I no longer have to step foot back in this building. I had to take extra time off work to heal and they (not all mainly just the surgeons) need to work on their bedside manners. I will not recommend this place to anyone I know and I am glad that this part of my life is over.

There aren't a lot of professional makeup artists in Charleston that show their portfolio so I was nervous on whom to choose. When I came across Rosemarie I was impressed that she had her own spa as a licensed esthetician and her portfolio pictures showed women with a "no makeup" classy look. I booked her to do my makeup on my wedding day and the day after since we were getting pictures on both days. She replicated the look on both days perfectly. The look she created for me was perfect and looked amazing in person and in pictures. I highly recommend her!
