I was referred by a friend whose hair had the look of a precision haircut. I met Sandy, the owner yesterday, for my consult and haircut. I had photos and we talked about what Might work with my fine hair. Within a few minutes, I knew that I'd come to the right place. Sandy and her team provided a safe pleasant experience. I left with a new hair style that is current, well suited for my fine hair and my personality! read more

My name is Dorothy Carey. I have been going to Salon Santinas since we moved here 10 years ago. All of the stylists are excellent. Everyone is highly skilled and experienced. All of the staff are warm and friendly. The stylist I routinely use is the owner Sandy. We resolve the problems of the world as she is busy coloring, cutting or styling my hair. I love this salon and highly recommend it. read more

I was prepared to give 4 stars due to the great perm Amanda gave me. I was not giving 5 stars, because I didn't need a lecture at the beginning about perms. I'm well into my retirement years and know about perms. She continued throughout to tell me about things any woman my age would know - can we say split ends? Because she said a perm would give my hair split ends she said it would be best if she snipped off the ends. Fine. She did not, I repeat she did not, say anything about an extra cost. So, she took about 1/4th of an inch off the ends. In no way did she give me a hair cut that shaped my hair or anything else. Next, there was no one at the front desk when I was ready to pay for my perm. Amanda said she didn't know how to work the computer. So. I had to wait about 10 minutes. I didn't have anywhere I needed to be, but i wondered what I would have done if I had. At last a young woman arrived to check me out. That's when I learned that I was being charged $89 for the perm which I expected....and $47 for a haircut. I asked why, and Amanda said she gave me a haircut and couldn't take off the charge. Yes, she snipped a few ends. No, she never said anything about that being a haircut. I had no choice, so I paid for the perm and the so-called haircut. I did not give Amanda a tip and told her I wasn't. I will not return. read more

WARNING!!!! I have put off writing this review but 1 1/2 weeks after my hair trim & re-growth color at $101 and a terrible hair cut by Amanda I decided to give an honest review to help others be prepared. I brought in my Redkin formula from my stylist but decided to try a different base color which turned out adequate but I told her to only trim my hair and ended up with this AWFUL style now! I have layers now where I didn't before, they are so uneven and my hair is thinner than when I walked in. It's hideous and can't wear my hair down now. I'm embarrassed and furious to have paid for this mess. I couldn't see what the style looked like when she was finished because of the awful way she styled it, wavy. I wear my hair straight. I went here last winter also, once, and the lady did a very good job on my color but she also couldn't cut hair well. But because they are good at color I decided to research other stylists, look at pics of their customers and decided on another. But unfortunately it turned out worse this time so needless to say I will not be back ever again! If you're looking for good color they can offer that but overpriced and terrible cuts. This pic was after wetting and drying again a couple times trying to get the awful fuzzy ends to lay down. What a mess! I've tried getting a refund or hair products to no avail. Very bad business! read more

I have been going to this salon for a couple of years now, and they ( the ladies)continue to impress me with their high- standards. Dennis gives 'the-best-ever' shampoo! I totally trust anyone in there with my longhair, although I have personally only used Sandy ( owner) and Aaron. Thank You Sandy and Dennis read more

I am a male, first-time client who came to Salon Santina's for a new haircut. Being new to the area, this was my first haircut since moving. I had looked around the Cape Coral region and checked out the reviews for this salon. I made an appointment via phone and was seen within an hour the same day. Upon arrival, I was a bit wary, as the salon itself could use a serious makeover. The window-dressing, photographs on the walls, decor and layout were very much stuck in the early 2000's. A few of the stylists were cheaply dressed which helped to bring down the professionalism of the scene. Each station appeared to be differently maintained: some were neat, clean and tidy, while others were messy with the stylists own personal items strewn about. The environment has the potential to be very chic and classy if these issues are addressed. I would suggest a more cohesive, minimalist dress code, as well as a more strict cleanliness policy for stylist work-stations. That being said, the service was impeccable. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and well kempt. I was offered a beverage immediately upon checking in, and in just a few moments my stylist was ready to take me to her chair. I was tended to by Brigitte, one of the cleaner and more professional stylists, who truly hit it out of the park with her service. She explained that she had been doing hair for 49+ years, and my cut is a testament to that level of experience. The consultation was brief, yet clear. She made sure that she fully understood what I was looking for before taking me to get shampooed. The shampoo process was relaxing and included a stimulating scalp massage. Throughout the cut, Brigitte was explaining her technique and engaging me in the process. While chatting, we came to the topic of organic foods and natural living. This was when Brigitte's personality blossomed. She was a goldmine of information and resources on this subject and we had a rather deep and enjoyable conversation that seemed more appropriate for two old friends. Her eye for detail was also remarkable. I had gotten this type of cut before, but this was the best it had ever looked. Brigitte confirmed with me that everything was to my satisfaction and we selected a styling product together. I mentioned that I prefer products with a matte finish to combat the sheen of my fine hair and she introduced me to a new, powder-based product from Redkin. I was impressed and decided to buy. Brigitte walked me to the front desk to check out, and withdrew a small gift bag from a nearby cabinet. She explained that first-time customers get these goody-bags and showed me it's contents. It included some fantastic coupons for future visits, as well as a certificate for a free facial which I found to be over-the-top generous. When checking out, I discovered that the salon works on a level-pricing-system based on the stylist's time in this particular salon. Brigitte is currently at level 1 (!!!) despite her decades of experience and technique. I scheduled my appointment for 5 weeks in the future and I can't wait to go back! read more

Was given a gift certificate for here so figured I'd give the place a try. LOVED IT! The salon is clean, the staff is polite and professional. My stylist was Deborah, she was AMAZING. I went in for a 9am appointment (walk-ins are welcome) with my hair as is it first thing in the morning, hadn't brushed it, so my curly hair was in full effect. Deborah did a wonderful consultation making sure to ask how I usually styled my hair, what I wanted for my cut (trim/new look/etc) all that fun stuff. I opted for a trim and Deborah suggested some shaping so that my hair would flow better and to graduate my straight bangs so they wouldn't look so heavy. Opted to take her up on her suggestions and all glad I did. The finished cut was PERFECT! It looks great when my hair is being its crazy curly self and so pretty when I straighten it. I'll definitely go back there again. Also, ask for info about their referral program it's really worth it. :) read more

Sandy the owner had just gotten back from a hair show in NYC and I asked her what's big for 2019? She said the shag is coming back. I said "let's do it " Wow! She is magical. I never would have thought to do a shag. I love it. New Year, new style. read more

Went in for corrective color. Didn't expect miracles just honesty. Had blue-green growing out of my blonde. Stylist said she had to go darker. Ok. She said as dark as my roots. That would have been fine. She went way darker without permission and it didn't cover the blue-green. When I was disappointed she tried telling me it was my natural color. When I called to tell them I couldn't tolerate the botched job they said I asked for it. They ruined my hair and no apologies. Now I have botched brownish - red - blue-green hair. All for $200. read more

I have been going to this salon for quite a few years. They are up to date on the latest styles and treatment for your hair. I know that they attend classes to stay on top of they're professionalism. When I go north, the salon up north tells me that my hair is in great shape. I contribute this to Sandy the owner. She suggests when I need a special treatment to maintain my hair. She also does my cut, which I love. My mother who is 95 also goes to this salon. I cannot tell you how they treat her with gentleness and care. I highly recommend this salon without hesitation. read more

Just had a hair cut and high light with Brigitte. Turned out wonderful. I walked in with thin, straight, fine, mousy brown hair and she gave cut that practically styles itself. The color is great, a beautiful sunshine blonde. Highly recommended. Thanks. Fran G read more

Spending 2 months here from Massachusetts and my hairdresser said , DO NOT let anyone touch you're hair. I have it perfect. Well I got to a point that it was making me very unhappy. So I googled places, read reviews and decided on Salon Santina Omg! Those were my 1st words. Erin matched my color perfect , followed my existing lines to shape it up. My hair looks healthy, shiny and perfect. So glad I did this. If in doubt, go see Erin She reads you and your hair perfectly read more

Absolutely worst haircut of my life! Amanda was my "stylist". I told her I wanted my hair to touch my shoulders, frame my face and trim my bangs. Basically just trim 3 inches from my existing hair style. I ended up looking like someone put a bowl on my head, and the bowl was warped. The owner Sandy was quick yo offer her services to repair the awful cut. Short of adding 3 inches to my length, she did what she could with what she had to work with. I now have a short bob. read more
