Very good salon. You do not get the spa experience, but it is pleasant to be there. My color stylist is Aaron - he is an experienced and expert color stylist. On top of that, he is flexible and open to your requests. The pricing seems to be heading upward, but that is normal for the times. So usually I have my sister cut my hair, but due to the pandemic, she hasn't been able to take the trip down to Florida. This summer is exceptionally hot, and while I love long hair, it had to go. I was able to get a Saturday morning appointment last minute, scheduling just 3 days prior. When I got there, due to COVID, you call upon arrival, and they will let you in for your appointment. Masks are required, as well as a touch touchless temperature check upon entry. Today, I was greeted by Miss Mora. From opening the door, to the end of my appointment, she was amazing-kind, knowledgeable, comfortable, and good at her job. The salon itself was so cute! Located in the shops at Surfside, it's not too hard to find. They had a modern theme, and the shop was kept nice and clean. The decor was cute, chairs comfy enough, and enough space to relax. They offer hair and nail services, as well as hair removal (i.e. eyebrow waxing). When Mora sat me down, she asked what I was looking to get done today. Unlike most other places, she ACTUALLY LISTENED. I let her know that k wanted to donate at least 12" to Wigs for Kids, so that is where we started. She separated my dry hair with rubber bands, and chopped off ~14" :). Now that the hard part was done, I was ready to relax. She escorted me to the wash station, which had sneeze guards up between chairs. I promise that I almost fell asleep with her scalp massage and the scent of the products. Perfect! When back in the chair, Mora began my real hair cut: about shoulder length, layered, and angled around the face. Once the cutting was complete, blow dry time (again, almost fell asleep). When I tell you that my head feels 10 lbs lighter, and so refreshed, I really mean it! I've included before and after pics. Although they look like I died my hair, the "before" lighting was just off. My hair has never been chemically treated or dyed, and is naturally dark like the after pics. That being said, the shampoo and conditioner she used really brought the natural shine out of my hair. I love it, and Mora did a great job. I would highly recommend her and Red Salon to anyone. read more

Finally found a salon that understands what is meant by blonde hair. Have always ended up with brassy blonde or light brown with slightly lighter, non noticeable hi lights and paid a lot each time. I recently moved down to the area from NYC, where I had my hairdresser for over 10 years. Literally no one else ever cut my hair. I was way overdue and I don't know anyone with hair like mine, who could recommend a place! I had one day off before I leave for an international trip and a wedding so I googled and found this place. Luckily they had an opening for a cut and a keratin, so I took it. Kim took care of me. It's always nerve wrecking seeing a new stylist, especially when you have thick, crazy curly hair. And I hadn't had a cut (or keratin) in almost a year. Kim took the mess on top on my head in stride and did an AMAZING job. It's the best, most flattering cut I've had in a while, and the keratin is amazing. She worked extra hard on my problem areas (which she identified without me saying a word) seriously ironing the begeezus out of those EXTREMELY stubborn kinks. I love my hair so much now! Aaron is a color genius! I relocated here from NYC, and have struggled to find a hairstylist in the area since the move. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Aaron for some major help with my color and texture. I was a hot mess! We drive all the way to Cape Coral for hair cuts and color. From Miami. (That's a 2 1/2 hour drive for those who keep track of such details) My family has been following Patricia around faithfully for years. So happy she ended up at this salon. The customer service is over the top fantastic- from the call to make the appointment to the staff at the reception desk it was a promise of good things to come. There are 14 stations there for cut and color. A modern setting and apparently easy to get an appointment as a walk in. If you request a specific stylist it can be a little more challenging. Anyway, back to Patricia. Consummate professional who looks at coloring in it's truest scientific form. She understands the ins and outs and what tragic decisions should be avoided (she has saved me from myself on more than one occasion). Same thing with the cuts. I have a husband with an amazing head of hair and a very (VERY) picky 15 year old boy and neither will trust anyone else to touch their hair (thus the drives in from Miami). If you are looking for a quality salon and understand the true value of a professional salon experience, this is the spot for you. Well I was lured here by a welcome to The Cape free haircut. I called ahead made my appointment and arrived as schedule. The staff was very friendly. The receptionist offered me coffee or tea. My stylist was Douglas. He was very nice and personable. He inquired how would like it done . I explain as best I could. I also told him I will know if its a good haircut 6-7 days after the job is done. Well here its is 6 days later. It a job well done. It is a very clean, beautiful and modern salon. It appears they live up to their advertising I gave them my coupon no question or pressure was put upon me. The stylist Natalie that does my daughters hair always Does an amazing job! I appreciate the spa feel and environment. Also, the front reception's desk customer service is a breath of fresh air. I think the prices are fair for the quality you receive. Also, they give you their new clients a goodie bag of perks such as a free mani w service and discounts for products. She did a I good job But and a big But, when I made the appt for just coloring the roots (I have short hair), and No hair cut I was told cost would be $50.00 give or take. You see, I needed to have my thinning hair buzzed because of chemo treatments.
