So usually I have my sister cut my hair, but due to the pandemic, she hasn't been able to take the trip down to Florida. This summer is exceptionally hot, and while I love long hair, it had to go. I was able to get a Saturday morning appointment last minute, scheduling just 3 days prior. When I got there, due to COVID, you call upon arrival, and they will let you in for your appointment. Masks are required, as well as a touch touchless temperature check upon entry. Today, I was greeted by Miss Mora. From opening the door, to the end of my appointment, she was amazing-kind, knowledgeable, comfortable, and good at her job. The salon itself was so cute! Located in the shops at Surfside, it's not too hard to find. They had a modern theme, and the shop was kept nice and clean. The decor was cute, chairs comfy enough, and enough space to relax. They offer hair and nail services, as well as hair removal (i.e. eyebrow waxing). When Mora sat me down, she asked what I was looking to get done today. Unlike most other places, she ACTUALLY LISTENED. I let her know that k wanted to donate at least 12" to Wigs for Kids, so that is where we started. She separated my dry hair with rubber bands, and chopped off ~14" :). Now that the hard part was done, I was ready to relax. She escorted me to the wash station, which had sneeze guards up between chairs. I promise that I almost fell asleep with her scalp massage and the scent of the products. Perfect! When back in the chair, Mora began my real hair cut: about shoulder length, layered, and angled around the face. Once the cutting was complete, blow dry time (again, almost fell asleep). When I tell you that my head feels 10 lbs lighter, and so refreshed, I really mean it! I've included before and after pics. Although they look like I died my hair, the "before" lighting was just off. My hair has never been chemically treated or dyed, and is naturally dark like the after pics. That being said, the shampoo and conditioner she used really brought the natural shine out of my hair. I love it, and Mora did a great job. I would highly recommend her and Red Salon to anyone. read more

I really enjoyed my services at the Red Salon in Cape Coral at Surfside. When I booked the Appointment online, it was quite easy. I then had a call from Tammy who made sure that I was booked in for the correct service. It was my first visit to Red Salon, very nice salon. Everyone was super friendly and Zalo was really professional and fun. He absolutely did not sell me services he knew I would be unhappy with and didn't need. I would recommend the Salon. read more

Very good salon. You do not get the spa experience, but it is pleasant to be there. My color stylist is Aaron - he is an experienced and expert color stylist. On top of that, he is flexible and open to your requests. The pricing seems to be heading upward, but that is normal for the times. I tend to skip through hair salons, but I've stayed with Aaron for over 2 years. I say, go for it! read more

Worst haircut of my life! Despite taking in a 8x10 picture of what I wanted, I ended up with a lop-sided, very short, cut which was not even close to what I wanted. Very depressing experience and very negative vibes. You can get a much better haircut at a SuperCuts and save $60.00. Ada D read more

Best salon in the Cape. I have lots of thick, heavy hair that is coarse and I prefer it razor cut exclusively...tried 10 other places that had no clue how to give a razor cut until Red Salon:). Sue also took my hair from blonde to silver..wonderful job! read more

Great salon. I bought a Mani/Pedi for my wife. The staff there was super nice from the first phone call to the wave good bye as we left. My wife really enjoyed the session with Cindy who had great attention to detail. The salon was clean and bright. Most importantly it must have had good ventilation because it did not smell like a nail salon. read more

Josie is amazing. She is highly skilled, profession and kind. Holy grail hair stylist!

I absolutely love having my hair done here and my rewards sure do add up. I discovered new products because of them. I have had at least 7 different ladies do my color and am always happy with my hair. Great people and my husband gets his hair cut here to. read more

Overpriced, ,customer service lacking. Higher priced then most other salons in Cape Coral

Wonderful place been going to them over 5 years. If you want a great color or cut you want a highly trained professional to do it. it's true you get what you pay for and every time I go I am impressed ! Stylist Kimi R makes me feel so at ease. My color always turns out the shade we plan. No surprises. Just great work start to finish. highly recommend !! read more

The workers were nice but I didn't expect to pay $60 for just a haircut. I went next door this last time and they only charged me $20.

Finally found a salon that understands what is meant by blonde hair. Have always ended up with brassy blonde or light brown with slightly lighter, non noticeable hi lights and paid a lot each time. This will now be my salon. Kim is great at explaining hair color and she did a nice job. I moved to the cape 1 1/2 yrs ago and have been disappointed with each place I tried until now. read more

I recently moved down to the area from NYC, where I had my hairdresser for over 10 years. Literally no one else ever cut my hair. I was way overdue and I don't know anyone with hair like mine, who could recommend a place! I had one day off before I leave for an international trip and a wedding so I googled and found this place. Luckily they had an opening for a cut and a keratin, so I took it. Kim took care of me. It's always nerve wrecking seeing a new stylist, especially when you have thick, crazy curly hair. And I hadn't had a cut (or keratin) in almost a year. Kim took the mess on top on my head in stride and did an AMAZING job. It's the best, most flattering cut I've had in a while, and the keratin is amazing. She worked extra hard on my problem areas (which she identified without me saying a word) seriously ironing the begeezus out of those EXTREMELY stubborn kinks. I love my hair so much now! I feel fantastic! I'm SO glad I was assigned her after randomly choosing this salon. I'll definitely be back. read more

We drive all the way to Cape Coral for hair cuts and color. From Miami. (That's a 2 1/2 hour drive for those who keep track of such details) My family has been following Patricia around faithfully for years. So happy she ended up at this salon. The customer service is over the top fantastic- from the call to make the appointment to the staff at the reception desk it was a promise of good things to come. There are 14 stations there for cut and color. A modern setting and apparently easy to get an appointment as a walk in. If you request a specific stylist it can be a little more challenging. Anyway, back to Patricia. Consummate professional who looks at coloring in it's truest scientific form. She understands the ins and outs and what tragic decisions should be avoided (she has saved me from myself on more than one occasion). Same thing with the cuts. I have a husband with an amazing head of hair and a very (VERY) picky 15 year old boy and neither will trust anyone else to touch their hair (thus the drives in from Miami). If you are looking for a quality salon and understand the true value of a professional salon experience, this is the spot for you. From what I understand, you can't go wrong with Anyone here but, you know... If you are lucky enough to catch Patricia with an opening you are sure to leave happy! read more

Aaron is a color genius! I relocated here from NYC, and have struggled to find a hairstylist in the area since the move. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Aaron for some major help with my color and texture. I was a hot mess! He has an amazing personality, and a true artists eye, that allow him to perfect his craft. My damaged blah hair that has never been manageable, is now the most natural and shiny it has ever been! Everyone at the salon is friendly, and you're always greeted with a smile I am already looking forward to my next appointment! read more

Deb did a great job the last time I was there in January! One of my criteria for choosing a salon here was wearing a mask and making sure others did too! I am extremely grateful and appreciative of their enforcement of this rule! As for the woman who complained, she should not go out in public in a pandemic without expectING to wear a mask. That was just plain rude for her to complain like that! Safety first! read more

I've been going to Red Salon for about 8 years now and I'm never disappointed with any service I've received! I've done everything from hair, nails, makeup and eyebrow waxing. I received a really great haircut today from Mora. She listened to what I wanted and answered all my questions about the products she used. She took her time with cutting my bangs which is really important so they don't end up too short. I feel like my 0 guard undercut got her out of her comfort zone but the whole haircut and style were beautiful and made me feel really nice. read more

Well I was lured here by a welcome to The Cape free haircut. I called ahead made my appointment and arrived as schedule. The staff was very friendly. The receptionist offered me coffee or tea. My stylist was Douglas. He was very nice and personable. He inquired how would like it done . I explain as best I could. I also told him I will know if its a good haircut 6-7 days after the job is done. Well here its is 6 days later. It a job well done. It is a very clean, beautiful and modern salon. It appears they live up to their advertising I gave them my coupon no question or pressure was put upon me. Compare to what they charge in The SF Bay Area they are VERY reasonable. i believe they are worth their salt. I should be back in 5-6 weeks. I read more

The stylist Natalie that does my daughters hair always Does an amazing job! I appreciate the spa feel and environment. Also, the front reception's desk customer service is a breath of fresh air. I think the prices are fair for the quality you receive. Also, they give you their new clients a goodie bag of perks such as a free mani w service and discounts for products. I never feel like they push products on us either, which I appreciate because personally makes feel good about buying product there. read more

I stopped in to this Salon on a chance that they would have a last minute appointment. They were welcoming and so friendly, I felt very comfortable immediately. You see, I needed to have my thinning hair buzzed because of chemo treatments. Through my tears, Debbie, my stylist, not only held my hand while she used the buzzer, but told me a heart warming story and gave me words of encouragement. And, to top off the kindness, the salon didn't even charge meI couldn't have found a better place for my challenging experience if I had tried. Thank you Red Salon read more
