I can't say enough about Mallory! I was upset about my previous haircut and hoping desperately she could fix it. When I came in to the salon, she greeted me with a friendly smile and asked me what I was looking for. I immediately shared my discontent with my previous cut and she said with confidence that it was fixable. She began with a thorough shampoo and scalp massage. Very relaxing. Then she sat me down in the chair and began the repair process. She was incredibly friendly keeping me entertained the whole time through conversation. Came here for a balayage couple month ago. Customer service was nice but I feel the stylist shouldn't bleach my already highlighted strings for the third time, because right after the session it's very fragile and flaky, very much damaged. I had to update my review to respond to the owner's post. First, can the owner please post pictures of the storefront along with pictures of the interior workstation, wash station, and reception desk because it was very disappointing --extremely small with an uncomfortable wash station chair that cannot recline. Second, I want to clear up it was not my "desired appointment time." When I called, I asked if there were any available openings for Wednesday; I did not request the specific time slot. It was given to me. I asked for the name of the hairdresser on the phone; she answered Jeanne. At the time of my arrival, there was only ONE client seated, ONE "artist", and Jeanne. The "artist" greeted me. I like to be friendly with my hairdresser, so I called her Jeanne. She did not correct me. Even as I sat there showing her my IPhone picture of the cut I wanted and describing it; she did not tell me to she wasn't cutting my hair. To my surprise, Jeanne attended to me after the shampoo and condition. Later, Jeanne asked me how I like the haircut, I responded with "it's fine," so she wouldn't make my hair even shorter by attempting to fix it. I just wanted to leave the store ASAP and book another appointment at a different salon to fix the botch up haircut immediately. You finished my cut without ever getting in front of me to show if my hair on both sides were even or ask for confirmation how long or short I want my bangs. My friend who I saw me the next day said my hair is longer on one side. Other friends joked that I should sue for getting such a bad haircut. Jeanne began sweeping the floor even before I left the chair and swept my hair into a stationary vacuum, which is incredibly loud and takes away from a salon experience. I also thought that was extremely rude to do. In 28 minutes, the both of you were able to greet, shampoo, condition, cut, sweep, and blow dry my hair, attend to two other customers, and think this will make a customer feel satisfied. It did not even make me feel welcomed. My response to the business owner's invite to adjust my haircut; I will never return to this salon in my life even if it's free for life. I just wish I can grow my hair quickly by taking biotin and get a haircut to fix this mess within the month. our artist read more

I came a week prior to have my consult and she she said no problems she would be able to give me what I wanted and I wanted the blond OUT! She let me know ahead of time how long the process is which was nice I was able to plan ahead my day at the salon. Abita has the most gentle hands honestly I just wanted to sleep. I had an appointment with Julienne, and she was amazing! I'd originally arranged for a root shadow (+$50) but she explained that my shade was natural enough that we didn't need it, and I appreciate the transparency. She was also super nice and never condescended as she was explaining things to me. I was a bit nervous about dyeing my hair for the first time, but she made sure I understood what was happening and how to take care of my hair afterwards. JULIENNE IS LITERALLY THE BEST!!!! I am 23 years old and have never cut my hair shorter than my waist area, nor have I ever dyed it. I've been thinking about dying it for a while, but was so scared to put my virgin hair in the hands of somebody. I have an emotional attachment to my hair, but after thorough research and visiting Julienne's Instagram (julcvstrohair) page multiple times, I believed that it was finally time for a change and she was the perfect person to go to for this! The minute I DM to her to make an appointment, up until I left the salon she has been nothing but helpful and is definitely amazing at what she does! I do have longer hair, so the process did take a couple hours, however, time literally flew bye because she was so easy to talk to and she made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole time! Since this was my first time dying my hair, she also went out of her way to provide me instructions on what I need to do to properly take care of my hair. She is definitely not one of those hairstylist who don't care about your hair, and you can see the passion she has for her work!!!!! I added some pictures to show the amazing work she did on my hair! I am completely in love with it and I do not regret going to her for this! She made me feel and look like a true queen with this new hairstyle!
