I have been coming to Faux Finish every week for almost 3 years now because of the quality of their work, the products that they use and the fact that the tan is personalized for your skin type/color/condition. I refer everyone I know to Faux Finish! All of the spray tans are organic and vegan and won't dry out your skin, plus they have additives like scents and anti-aging/slimming for an extra boost! For example, if you accidentally spill something on your tan or get caught in the rain on the way home they will fix it for you immediately and every tan comes with a free touch up! So if your face is starting to fade on day 3 because of your acne face wash or a recent facial, they will respray your face to match the rest of your body so that it all fades evenly. Their spray tans are pretty inexpensive, $25 and lasted me about a week and a half. (She did say the prices were going to go up soon to $30, but to me that is still not bad!) During my spray tan she was very professional and kept a conversation with me while she was working on me. They have a private room you go into, with plenty of towels to stand on. I will admit the tan was a little scary dark at first, but she warned me about this and let me know in advance that after showering I will look a lot better, and she was right. That should have been my first red flag but, I went with it anyway as I really needed the service. When I arrived I met the stylist to which I had been assigned. She was very young but I told myself just to go with it, everybody has got to start somewhere, right? Another mistake on my part. Through out the appointment this young lady didn't listen to me. The so called highlights are non existent, I feel like maybe the formula was mixed incorrectly and the cut is really mediocre. The moral of the story is be leery when visiting a salon without a recommendation you could end up being used as a training tool for someone's kid.
