Well my "walk in"turned out to be a great experience!!! I was given to Vita (a stylist with many years of experience) and great personal style. Anyway, my mother came with me and showed her some of the ideas from photos and after she looked at my head she was like a Leonardo Da Vinci at work sculpting away at a masterpiece. Talk about a master at work!! I had an extreme makeover and it matched the shape of head/face. Vita is great!!! Thanks and I'll be back for more services. Then... I was turned over to an amazing colorist "Marilyn" and she helped rock my look right out of the ballpark! This place is amazing and I'm happy they are so great at their craft!! Right hand up and swear to that. I'm not paid for this endorsement nor compensated so this is a legitimate compliment and review + experience and I would be happy to share further details if needed. She charged me the full blonde session (balayage) fee plus $50 toner although I only had the partial balayage and it was okay for me. But to my surprise, when I was paying, she charged me another $90 for the extra products which she said 3 bowls of extra dye because my hair is so thick...what? I went to some hair salons & I was never charged for that plus my hair is not that thick! I was so disappointed of her. She charged me $421 (including my $79 deposit) less the root touch up coz I decided not to have it anymore. I felt like I was taken advantage. Will never go back! ***Response to the owner: You didn't discuss about the extra product that is $90! You only told me when I was about to pay. Yes, I decided not to have the root touch up anymore and was hoping I will pay less but I ended up paying more because of your extra charge. The partial custom blonde session you charged me $202 + $79 deposit = $281. I know toner is included in the price. The extra product you clearly said because my hair is so thick. My gray hair were still visible and to the point that I went to the other salon to have it root touched up coz it looks bad...that was my bad coz I decided not to get it but hoping root smudge will help. Anyway, my main complaint is the $90 extra product which you clearly told me was for the "3 bowls" of products which I understood for the extra color. Over all, I was not satisfied of your service. I paid $421 plus 15% tip! And look at my hair Please don't say I was lying here! On my first review, I meant you charged me the full blonde session fee although I will only get the partial blonde and that was fine with me...I never complain about the price. Yes,I was wrong about the "toner"...I meant the root smudge. Partial blonde session: $202 Advance deposit: $79 Root smudge : $50 Extra 3 bowls of product: $90 Total: $421 Tip: $60 ****Final Response to the owner: Again and again, I was not complaining about the partial blonde session fee you charged me. And I know what is the difference between root smudge & root touch up. I was only giving the detail what happened before, during and after the service you gave me. As what I've said, my main complaint was the $90 extra for the 3 bowls of products which you never told me until I was about to pay. Please don't insist that you discussed it to me before you did my hair. I am not a troublemaker & I am not ignorant about the rules in the salons. I went to a lot of salons and never write a review even if sometimes I feel a little bit disappointed of the outcome of the service they made. But I never encountered something like this. $90 is a lot of money for me. I was just shy to complain in your salon because there were some clients waiting. Although when I was paying and asked you what was the $90 for, your reply was for the 3 bowls of extra products, I have no choice but to pay. I left in shocked and feeling sad. I decided to go to you coz you have good reviews plus you are a filipina too. I failed. ****I forgot to say, my hair was not jet black that you need to put extra 3 bowls of product to lighten it (as what you said) to achieve the desired color. My color was previously bleached and light colored already.

Many times, during the "year" at salon for haircut(always pre booked every 4 weeks with a chosen hair stylist), "glitches" in my appointment(s) when I arrived frequently occurred. Such as: 1. Hair stylist who had been cutting my hair, moved away. Salon owners said they booked me with the stylist's friend. Yet on the subsequent 3 appointments, new stylist not at salon for one reason or another. 2 times she finally arrived later than my booked time. 3. Caused me a feeling of humiliation, worthlessnes, uncomfortably , while sitting in a chair waiting for stylist to arrive, the 2 owners, behind desk communicating in their language which I do not understand, spoke loud enough for me to hear that they "seemed not to know what to do for me.
