I have been neglecting my curly, frizz prone hair for a long time. It had been 3 years since my last trim! I have an important interview coming up and knew I needed to get my hair in presentable condition. I'd seen Sarina recommended multiple times, so I made an appointment. Sarina was friendly and took on the task of giving my hair a desperately needed makeover. We talked about preferences and she gave advice and suggestions. I was happy with the finished product; my hair looks so much healthier and my curls are lively again! She gave me tips on styling and managing at home which I have been working on! Thank you, Ashley Tranter. We have now found our Forever Stylist. My family and I were in search for a new hair salon and after researching we came across the J W Salon. We were a bit nervous having to book a new salon and stylist last minute for a wedding, BUT.....AMAZING. This salon is super cute. It's not too fancy on the outside, but once you walk through the front door it's clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and it just felt like home. Ashley was so accommodating. I made an appointment for three people. (myself, my daughter and sister) Ashley exceeded our expectations. Not only did she cut, color, & style our hair but did all 3 of us in under 4 hours. I was hesitant when she booked us all together, but she came through and exceeded our expectations! (Booking us together was so convenient since we all rode together:) Our appointment started at 10am and we were out of there by 2pm. Ashley was amazing & super funny. If you are looking for a new stylist definitely contact her. We only had our long hair trimmed (so not sure of her cutting expertise, but I'm sure it's fabulous.) I can definitely attest to her Color technique. It is on point! She colored my hair dark brown W/ purple highlights, my sister is older and has grey hair. Instead of bleaching her whole head (she used to be a blonde) she did a light white, grey, blondish triple highlight so when her hair grows out it doesn't look colored but more natural:) My daughter got a beautiful chestnut brown. Wanted to get my hair done last week before I fly to NYC last week and then someone from another place refer Callie Reeves to me. And I contacted her and she told me she works at Salon JW，I searched the name online and saw a 5.0star review，I was so happy that I finally found a professional salon. I showed the hair that I want with a short video，she said she can do it. But it was not the style I want，it cost me $113 and I tipped her $40，The next day my hair was straighten up，never have this situation before and I was on a vacation with ugly hair. I texted her with the pics of my hair，took forever to get a reply，she answer phone call and text messages all the time when she doing my hair，not during the wait time，she got a message and texted the message back during she doing my hair. But I still got a chance to fix it when I back to Orlando. I gave her second chance and she was complain about my hair was too bad to do，I was so confused why didn't she told me when my first visit. And she just keep telling me about because my hair was damaged，too hard to do. Before she fixed my hair she asked me the whole video of the hair style I want，i showed her，and she still didn't say anything like she couldn't do it，if she does I would just go another salon to fix it. And yes，she failed again. I didn't know why she thought I want curly hair，and if she wanted to make my hair look curly why she asked me for the video of the hair that I want. I am really mad at the result. I don't usually leave a review or something but she deserve it. The forth pic is a screenshot of the hair I want. The first pic was the first time I visited her，it was not too bad I thought just let it grow so I tipped her $40.The second pic was the next day I woke up and most of them were straighten up. I've gone to see Megan twice and each time I had such a great experience! My first appointment a few months ago I did a big chop to short (for me) hair. I have curly hair so I was trying to get rid of all of the dry mess the ends of my hair had become. Megan really listened to what I wanted and gave me some suggestions based on her knowledge (which is really what I want from a hair stylist... I have an idea, but they're the professional with the experience and knowledge, so I love when my stylist speaks up if something I want isn't a good idea). Both times I've come out feeling great! Ciara is such a doll and did such a great job on my hair color, cut, and style. She went above and beyond with my hair so I highly recommend seeing her. She is also very sweet and easy to talk too. Prices are very fair. The salon its self is a charming place to have some self pampering. There's plenty of coffee and magazines. Everyone has been friendly and inviting. I just LOVE this place! Oh! After YEARS of being tortured by stylists and walking out of several salons full of regret and even recently returning to one for a refund, I found SalonJW. Ciera was my stylist! She turned my frown upside down for sure. After several months of disappointment and not achieving the color that I wanted, she definitely delivered. I went in with the thought of "how bad can this be? after all, it can't get any worse than what I've been through!" I just checked in via yelp for the 4th time today at Salon JW - I'm now the Duchess of Salon JW - too cool! I have to say I love this Salon so much. I go there specifically to see my stylist, Logan Slaughter, who helps me keep my natural blonde looking spot on and feeling healthy. Logan is fantastic and truly an artist with color and cuts. She is very flexible with her appointments and I love that I can make my appointments on my smart phone. She also does make up and I haven't taken her up on that but can't wait to try for my next special event. Logan has a cool personal style and her hair always looks amazing. She previously worked in NYC and has her finger on the pulse of the latest techniques, trends and products. I feel like whoever does my hair has to have cool hair themselves, just my personal opinion. There is also another fantastic stylist Jacob, who works there. I used to go to him back in the day and lost touch for over 10 years and to my surprise I was there getting my hair done by Logan and he was there. Jacob is amazing and knows his stuff and is well known in Orlando.. I think I feel asleep once getting my hair shampooed due to his mad scalp massage skills. This Salon specializes in hair and has several independent stylists who all seem to have a busy regular clientele. The salon is always packed, which is great for them. I noticed they do manicures, pedicures and basic waxing also. There is a cute little boutique attached which sells jewelry, shoes, candles, bags, FSU and UF stuff. This place came to my rescue!!! After my hair was massacred by a mall salon, I called this salon for help. Brenda rescued my hair by blending everything, reshaping it, and making it look beautiful again. I have learned my lesson and will be back for my next hair cut.
