One of the best dinners we had while in Istanbul! It's located near the Galata Tower and comes with a small section of side Al outdoor seating and a large indoor dining room. To feed my family of three, we ordered the mushroom pasta, manti, and stuffed vegetables. Each dish was full of flavor and well prepared. Even our five-year-old daughter loves everything! My glass of white wine from Turkey and my wife's green cocktail tasted good. Service was excellent and prices fair.

Right next to our hotel, a lovely casual bar & restaurant with Turkish foods. Restaurant was clean, bright & service was friendly @ I'm English. The breakfast menu looked reasonably priced & appealing. Lunch was about $25, we drank water & shared a meat & cheese platter for 2. The meat, grapes, walnuts & assorted cheeses were fresh & tasty.

Very cozy, lovely atmosphere and ambiance with gentle French cafe style music playing in the background. Very friendly, attentive staff. Every dish we had was exceptional. Have been 3 times in just a few days as it is conveniently located next door to our hotel. Highly recommend breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Great atmosphere. French farm meets contemporary post and beam while music chic enough for Hotel Costes plays. Good cocktails, good food, and friendly staff.

A friend recommended this place when visiting Istanbul. I ordered the steak, and my friend ordered the lamb shank. The steak was good, well cooked but his lamb not so much. There's no sides with the meal so definitely order something additional from the menu. The bread they give you before the food comes was also cold. Ordered some fries, tastes like yuca, which is a gold thing. Service wasn't too good though.

This is not a coffee shop where you can get coffee made. It only sells coffee. One of the things…read morethat makes the coffee special is that you can get roasted and grind daily and fresh coffee here. They also have I side coffee in cans. The aroma is nice when it is being roasted. The shop is small. It has two windows. It's like a drive-thru lol but you walk, no cars. You order in one window and get the coffee in a paper bag at the other window. They do not speak English here or try. Communication is easy because they only sell one type of coffee at the window and have two sizes. I did well with pointing. It is a place you want to know what you want before getting to the window. They have little patience and long lines. They run like robots here. It is crazy fast how work. Have payment on hand. The shop in near the spice market. The coffee here is well known. I bought some to take home. A week later the coffee smells just like it did when I first bought it. I intended to buy coffee so I packed zip bags for it. If u are traveling and dont want your clothes to smell like coffee i suggest to do the same.

Once it's your turn, the guys were impatience and rushed you to order. If you were not fast enough, they gave you that look like you are in the way. Didn't really appreciate the service at all. So if you know what you want then stop by but if it's your first time, be ready to face the coffee cop.

This place was AMAZING…read more After a very long chill and drink sesh at another establishment in the area, bae and I were hungry and tryna chow down on some turkish grub. This place was in the vicinity and decent according to trip advisor AND open late. The restaurant is gigantic. I'm not an expert on average restaurant sizes in Turkey but this is one of the biggest restaurants I've ever seen. It has like 5 levels and is decorated impeccably. Impeccable as a synonym for weird. We were kindly seated in this, I'm not joking, like library on the roof. I literally took panoramic snapchats with the caption "this is literally where we are eating dinner". We sat on the couch in the library and the food was placed on a coffee-table like structure in front of us. We went with hookah of course, because 6 hours of hookah prior to our arrival was clearly inadequate. The staff were impressively attentive to our coals and came to check up on them every 30 min or so. If you know us, it won't be surprising that we literally ordered the entire menu. We got boreka-like spinach and cheese SPRING ROLLS (wtf?), spinach and cheese pastry thing, hummus (OBVIOUSLY), zucchini fritters, meat-ravioli in a cream sauce, and pita bread (OBVIOUSLY). Everything was absolutely spectacular. We ate way more food than is probably recommended for health/safety reasons but it was worth it. The staff was absolutely incredible with how much attention they gave us. Because we were off in a colony on mars practically, we had no idea that the restaurant had pretty much closed down in the floors below. This abruptly came to my attention when I drunkenly attempted to search for the bathroom. Our waiter additionally went out of his way to flag our cab down on our way out. Amazing hospitality in this place. Anyways, this was honestly one of my best experiences in a restaurant to date. Highly recommend.

When I arrived there was only one other customer inside. The restaurant decor was cute and I very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This spot was a bit pricey just like most of the restaurants in this touristy area. I had certain Turkish entrees i wanted to try during my vacation. I ordered the Iskender kebab which is beef and pita bread covered with tomato sauce with yogurt on the side. I ordered a side salad to go with it. The dish was very delicious as you can tell in one of my pics. I chatted with some of the staff about life in Istanbul. I was offered some complimentary pomegranate tea before I left and it hit the spot. This is definitely a place to check out when you're in the area.

I had some of THEE BEST chicken kebab I've ever had in this country here. The beef kebab was also tender and flavorful. You cannot go wrong with any of these! The service was quick and prompt, and the servers were great at making recommendations. I came here in the winter so we sat indoors which felt a bit cramped however, there is also outdoor seating during the nicer weather months. If I'm ever back here in Istanbul, I would definitely come back. And if you're reading this, you NEED to try the Old Ottoman!
