She color matched me and showed me that I was between a brown and a deep, almost black brown. I told her I wanted to be safe and choose the brown color. She told me she was going to mix in a little bit of the darker color to match it better so I trusted her and agreed thinking it would be a dark brown like my roots. When all was said and done, I was left with black/blue hair. I am way too pale for this to be like my natural color. It's even darker than my work scrubs. I called the next day and asked for tips on how to remedy this. I was told "they did use a developer which was too dark" and to wash my hair everyday and as a last resort to try Dawn dish soap. I did it all to no avail. I gave them another chance and called back to see if there was a safe way for them to fix it and if not, I would like a refund. They came back with "Marisa said that's the color you both agreed upon, but we can give you a partial refund of half the price you paid". I paid a couple hundreds plus tip for a service I hate. I really wanted to just remedy the situation and give them a chance to fix it because Marisa's always done a good job and I truly liked this salon, but I won't be returning now. If my hair wasn't wet right now I'd post the proof but just picture Morticia Addams and there you go
