Kim always listens and has great suggestions. I've been your customer for over 16 years and always get compliments of my cuts.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I came in with a clear inspiration photo…read moreshowing vivid blue-black hair -- hair that was visibly blue even in standard lighting. After my appointment, the blue could barely be seen in bright sunlight and wasn't visible at all under bright studio lighting. It just looked black. I expressed my disappointment, and the stylist offered a redo. At the redo appointment, she dyed over my hair without fully drying it first. The end result wasn't blue-black either -- it was uneven black with warm brown patches where the dye didn't take. What also concerned me was something the stylist shared during the redo. I asked about her weekend plans, and she mentioned that a previous client had to come back in because there wasn't enough pink dye to finish her hair. She said the client had to attend prom or a birthday with only partially dyed hair. Between that and my own experience, I started to seriously question the salon's planning and professionalism. I requested a refund, and the stylist agreed and asked for my Venmo. I replied a few weeks later to provide it, but after that, I received no further communication. When I followed up again, she said that my late response meant I had forfeited the refund and told me not to contact her or the salon owner again. I never received the refund. Overall, I left with hair I didn't want, time and money lost, and zero accountability from the salon. I would not recommend this stylist based on my experience.

There was another client she had at the same time that took up about an hour of our time just for a curl and style, and we were just sitting there. The way she talked was also quite unprofessional, said some things that made my friend uncomfortable, and I just felt super weird. I don't think I'd go to her again.

I've been a loyal customer for more than 2 years. I tip 25% on top of the charges every time…read more I made an appointment for 1pm. I was across the street picking up a prescription earlier in the morning so I swung by to see if they were busy or not, thinking maybe I'll get one sooner if they're slow. They were not slow, so they said to come back. I drove home to Leavenworth. I came back for my appointment but accidentally came at 1:45 (thinking my appointment was at 2pm). They let my know I "no showed". I asked why they didn't call. They said they don't call people they just mark them no show. I said "well it's clearly not like me to not show up, would have been nice to call" The lady hair cutter asked if I wanted to have her cut me, or wait for the male cutter. I asked how long the wait would be, she said 30 minutes, and I said "okay" and was sitting there patiently waiting using my phone. The male hair dresser calls me over 2 minutes later and accuses me of being mean to the lady hair cutter. I asked him how I was being mean and he could not answer me. I told him that I was sitting there patiently waiting, and that he's causing a problem now for no reason. He raised his voice, and I told him that he's the one causing problems, and again reiterated that I was sitting there content to wait. I'm not sure why he called me over just to yell at me when I was patiently waiting. They both yelled at me that I should be apologizing to them for being late. I told them it was an honest mistake. Who do you think you are to demand a customer apologize to you for being late? Life happens. I let him know that I won't be spoken to like this and told him I would find a new hair cutter. How dare you? I have been loyal to you for 2 years. I have tipped you hundreds of dollars that I did not have to tip. Learn some customer service, my experience today was wildly inappropriate and the business owner escalated things for no reason after everything was fine. Re: business owner response. Again, how exactly was I mean? Your wife or sister or whoever that is thinks I was mean because I said "okay"? What else am I supposed to respond with, when asked if something is okay, other than by agreeing and saying "okay"? You can't even articulate what I allegedly did wrong. Edit 2- Dude I was never rude to your wife. I was on my phone. She asked if I wanted her to cut my hair or if I wanted to wait. I've seen her ask everyone this question over the past 2 years. I asked her how long the wait would be. She said 30 minutes. I said "okay" and then went back to my phone. How in the world do you consider this rude or mean in any way?
