I took several pictures to show her and one of the pictures was of Jaime Lee Curtis. She started cutting my hair and at that time I couldn't see how short it was until it was too late. I was in shock and couldn't even say anything, I wanted to cry. I text her and she blamed the haircut on the texture of my hair. She didn't communicate with me at all. I have been wearing a wig when I go out anywhere and probably will have to wear it for months. I am 78 years old and want to cry every time I look in the mirror.

I am very happy with the service I receive here!! I've been giving them my business, for over a…read moreyear, and am completely satisfied, with all aspects of my visits. The entire staff, and receptionist are extremely friendly, and they have very reasonable pricing. The pricing varies per stylist, as they pay the owner for their space, and they are allowed to set their own pricing, based on the services provided. I highly recommend Gloria, as she has always paid close attention to detail, listened to my requests, and did great with my two young critterz, on walk-in status. They are flexible with scheduling, and will try to accommodate your needs. The business is kept clean, and in order, and there is not clutter to maneuver around, when transitioning between work stations. I do not hesitate to recommend this establishment.

I love Justine for Volume Lashes! I moved here from Los Angeles and tried nearly every place I…read morecould find for lashes and was seriously disappointed every time. The lashes put on were barely there and fell off within a week. Not to mention I was charged $200 for the initial lackluster job and told to come back every 2 weeks for $100 fills. Ladies, this is NOT how it's supposed to be. Lashes are A big enough expense on a monthly basis at around $100 and that's what I was paying in Los Angeles. Here in Corpus The places I went to were expecting consumers to pay over $200 a month for Lashes, this is just not acceptable. I found Justine and my search was finally over and I'm so grateful! She does volume lashes and they look amazing and last for a full month and her pricing is extremely reasonable! I highly recommend everyone looking for a lash artist to go to her and everyone already going to a lash artist here in corpus to switch and go to Justine because her work product is far superior, her personality is awesome, her pricing is the best I've found here in corpus and she does specials on on a regular basis. The most important reason- the lashes turn out phenomenal, thick, long and truly sexy. Love that you got trained in Volume Justine!

Instead of asking me to come in and see her face to face, she asked me for pictures of my hair. She then told me I needed a color correction because my hair was yellow and my roots were dark. I told her that was the lighting in my bathroom messing with the color. My hair is in no way yellow. She told me to go to Salon Chartreuse because my hair needed to be fixed and she couldn't do it. So I did. And guess what? My hair is not in need of color correction at all. Just new highlights and a cut. Since she never saw me face to face, she never really got to see my hair. Instead she pretty much told me that she didn't want to risk her reputation on me. Whatever. Won't be calling her again. All I wanted was a cut and highlights. Instead I got the brush off.

I made a comment about a year ago about a stylist that i was going to with my mom, she was amazing…read morebut sadly left this salon, and to be fair Im not surprised. I'm not one to write reviews especially bad ones, or on a salon i have been going to for years but i know when im getting my hair done i want my hair to be right, i want a nice and friendly stylist and a salon right? well not here. Backstory my mom and i used to come here maybe 5 years go, it was around 2020-2021 when we started coming here, everyone was super nice and friendly, we both loved this salon and we hated that we were moving away, well after about 2 and a half years we come back and let's just say this place changed... My mom has always had short hair and i used to as well but that was until back in 2021 when i decided i wanted to grow my hair out and donate it to a child in need, so when i go in every 3 months i don't get a lot off but my mom loves her hair short, i mean it's texas of course you want short hair with this weather, so she went in maybe every month or every 2 months, but everyone was always so mean and rude to my mother, she's the type to wear no makeup and wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt because she loves to be comfortable and i agree with her, even i started to wear the same clothes as her but when i find out my stylist is saying my mothers hair feels like Barbie doll hair and a horrible texture, that's when you will lose my money and time. My mom has had a problem with her hair ever since we moved away from texas, she has even asked this stylist if she could help her and her hair, but in return her stylist tells another person who just gave my mother a compliment on her hair, that my mothers hair feels like Barbie doll hair, i'm sorry what?! that's rude. And i'm overprotective of my mother so of course i had something to say but didn't wanna cause a problem in the salon, so we moved hair stylists and went with Melissa, and when i say melissa was amazing to my mom and help her with her hair i mean it, and melissa was honest with my mom and said that the other girls talk about my mom in a horrible way. After we found out melissa left we stopped going there. please save your time and money and most importantly your hair and don't go here. This salon was amazing back in 2020-2022 but now it's horrible. I have way more bad experiences with this salon that i would share but i felt as if this would be enough. My mom now cuts my hair and soon i will be cutting her hair and helping her with her hair needs.
