That immediately caught my attention, so I did some research and found so many amazing reviews that I decided to give them a try. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the receptionist, who took the time to explain the differences between the wax options. After hearing the benefits, I decided to go with the chocolate wax. After using the restroom, I was taken back almost immediately by Gleiciana. It had been about three months since my last wax because between nursing school and work, I just haven't had time to make the long drive to my usual wax studio. I already knew it was going to be painful regardless of the type of wax because I had waited so long. Gleiciana was absolutely amazing. She applied pressure after each pull, which really helped minimize the discomfort. She was incredibly thorough and paid close attention to detail throughout the entire appointment. She even waxed my inner thighs and happy trail without charging extra, which I've never experienced before. She also took the time to tweeze the stubborn hairs to make sure everything was perfect. One thing I especially appreciated was how she had me bring my legs to my chest for the backside instead of having me lie on my stomach and spread my cheeks. For personal reasons, that made me feel much more comfortable, and I truly appreciated her professionalism and approach. This was honestly one of the best waxes I've ever had and, without a doubt, the smoothest results I've ever gotten. Usually after a Brazilian, I'm pretty sore and throbbing afterward from the trauma to my skin. This time, I barely had any discomfort afterward. I did take an ibuprofen before my appointment, but I've done that before and still experienced soreness, so I honestly think the chocolate wax may have made a difference. As far as whether the chocolate wax is less painful, I can't say for certain since I had gone so long between appointments. However, I can confidently say the overall experience was exceptional.
