Came here on September 6,2019. I pulled up at about 9:08am (it said they opened online at 9:00am)…read morethe nail tech was running in late and there were already a few others waiting in the parking lot to also get their nails done. Once inside, everything was handled very professionally and promptly despite the pressure she was under. The male nail tech who did my manicure was amazing! He messed up on part of the gel application and fixed it without me even commenting on it (I probably wouldn't have even noticed) I got a basic gel manicure and regular polish pedicure and the total was $50. Great prices and they stay busy because they are the best service in Portland!

Nice staff who took time…read moreto do the cut tip technique I requested and still charged the $50 price they charge for the dipped technique which I appreciate since she had to spend more time on doing it right. ( I don't like the look of the dipped technique. It looks sloppy and wavy). Neg: They should have used darker pink for the nail bed so you couldn't see flaws like bubbles or lines in the powder gel but next time I'll know to request it. They were very willing to spend time doing it to my specifications. It wasn't the stylists usual technique so all considered I'd go back and I would recommend them. I believe that is you asked for something they do daily you'd rate them a 5 star.

I made a comment about a year ago about a stylist that i was going to with my mom, she was amazing…read morebut sadly left this salon, and to be fair Im not surprised. I'm not one to write reviews especially bad ones, or on a salon i have been going to for years but i know when im getting my hair done i want my hair to be right, i want a nice and friendly stylist and a salon right? well not here. Backstory my mom and i used to come here maybe 5 years go, it was around 2020-2021 when we started coming here, everyone was super nice and friendly, we both loved this salon and we hated that we were moving away, well after about 2 and a half years we come back and let's just say this place changed... My mom has always had short hair and i used to as well but that was until back in 2021 when i decided i wanted to grow my hair out and donate it to a child in need, so when i go in every 3 months i don't get a lot off but my mom loves her hair short, i mean it's texas of course you want short hair with this weather, so she went in maybe every month or every 2 months, but everyone was always so mean and rude to my mother, she's the type to wear no makeup and wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt because she loves to be comfortable and i agree with her, even i started to wear the same clothes as her but when i find out my stylist is saying my mothers hair feels like Barbie doll hair and a horrible texture, that's when you will lose my money and time. My mom has had a problem with her hair ever since we moved away from texas, she has even asked this stylist if she could help her and her hair, but in return her stylist tells another person who just gave my mother a compliment on her hair, that my mothers hair feels like Barbie doll hair, i'm sorry what?! that's rude. And i'm overprotective of my mother so of course i had something to say but didn't wanna cause a problem in the salon, so we moved hair stylists and went with Melissa, and when i say melissa was amazing to my mom and help her with her hair i mean it, and melissa was honest with my mom and said that the other girls talk about my mom in a horrible way. After we found out melissa left we stopped going there. please save your time and money and most importantly your hair and don't go here. This salon was amazing back in 2020-2022 but now it's horrible. I have way more bad experiences with this salon that i would share but i felt as if this would be enough. My mom now cuts my hair and soon i will be cutting her hair and helping her with her hair needs.

I took several pictures to show her and one of the pictures was of Jaime Lee Curtis. She started cutting my hair and at that time I couldn't see how short it was until it was too late. I was in shock and couldn't even say anything, I wanted to cry. I text her and she blamed the haircut on the texture of my hair. She didn't communicate with me at all.
