So it was actually a phenomenal bagel. I haven't lived in NYC for almost a year so maybe my taste buds have adapted to the lack of good bagels in London, but I'd consider the bagel to be NYC quality. Similarly, the service was akin to NYC. A bit snobby honestly. With that said, the vibe on the inside was amazing and it seemed like a great cafe for working during the day so I'll give them credit for that. The bagel was expensive - €4.50 for a bagel with cream cheese. The amount of cream cheese in the bagel was a joke. Thank god it was a good bagel because I basically ate it plain lol. And considering the price... Would I go back? I don't know, maybe? I'd probably order plain bagels and buy the cream cheese at the supermarket.

I saw many people be served ahead of me, I saw a bagel that looked like my order be delivered to a different table. The people at that table returned the bagel, I thought the mistake would be realized and the bagel brought to me. The bagel did not arrive. I thought they might be re-making the bagel because the other table of guests had touched it. They were not remaking it. I went to ask about my bagel after 45min, the entire time I had been sitting with my number clearly displayed as instructed. They tried to blame me and my number not being visible for their mistake. I would not have been upset in this situation if they had not blamed me and lied to me about their mistake. I saw the bagel delivered to the wrong table so clearly the issue was not with my number being unfindable. Again, mistakes happen and I would not be leaving this review if not for their reaction.

Would love to stop by again to try the food! Food: - Chai Latte--€3.00 I couldn't find a hot chai latte on their menu so I asked at the counter, and they kindly told me that they did have a hot chai latte. I asked to order one and they asked me if I preferred it spicy or sweet so I asked for spicier. The chai latte came out hot, frothy, milky, and creamy as I love all my chai lattes to be, and it wasn't too spicy but not too sweet which was great. Tips: - Make sure to mention whether you want a sweeter or spicier chai latte when you order!

ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS PLACE!!…read more First: I'm a girl and I love girly places with pastel colours, cute decorations on the walls, laces and all that stuff okay? And this little place of wonders has it all. The café is small and super cozy. The interior is a mix of grandma's furniture (super comfortable sofas and couches) and a girly dream in pastel. Did I mention that I love this place? The menu is nice as well. You have bagels, cakes and salad with meat, without or vegan (extra points). The cakes seemed to be self made and looked so so good. I had a vegan bagel and my friend had a "Russischer Zupfkuchen" (Germans and their names for cakes....). We also ordered some tea and everything was great. The waiter were so nice and sweet and I fell in love with this café. In fact I will move in. Bye.

Summary: If you want a breakfast in berlin thats gonna make you say WOW... this is the place!…read more I can say I have probably had the best bagel of my whole life!! And thats saying a lot considering I grew up on New York Bagels. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the presentation is just gorgeous, and it was absolutely delicious. The cream cheese has a hint of lemon oil in it that just brings the entire dish together. The space itself is super cozy and cute, i sat on a high top chair by the window and enjoyed watching passersby's eyes open wide at the amazing food The menu is very limited but it all looked amazing, other peoples dishes at tables beside me looked large and beautiful as well so I have no doubt everything here is a hit! This is one of my last meals in berlin but I wish I could come here every morning!!! Service was fast and friendly as well :-) 10/10 homerun cafe

Would you like a crowded café with an Instagram aesthetic (ranging from the food to the decor) and a fast-paced meal or something more Berlin -- a lowkey living room-esque vibe with meat and cheese galore? Thankfully, bRICK manages to bridge these two identities for a peaceful weekend brunch that'll make you feel like you're right at home. I stopped by on a recent Saturday morning to find it half empty, more or less. The customer service was a little brusque (not surprising) though not overtly so as its hipster decor might allude to. I had the "Brickfast" -- the most Californian option on the menu (with Berlin prices). It included two fried eggs, grilled cheese (as in, thin blocks), avocado, hummus, homemade tomato cream cheese (!), olives, bread, and a small salad. The tomato cream cheese was definitely a nice touch, though I was a little disappointed that the tomato taste was just a bit too subtle for me to actually discern. And the eggs left me wanting more... more water, actually, because they were way too salty! But points for effort because there was so much food, I guess?

After that, there was no more hesitation, just enjoyment. From Brammibal's website: "You don't know Bienenstich yet? Well, ask any German around you and we promise they will start raving about it. This donut is filled with our homemade vanilla custard made with organic vanilla, then dunked in a vanilla glaze, and topped with roasted slivered almonds."
