My second Toe began to cross over my big toe, I had pain under my foot and I had such a hard time wearing shoes. He performed my surgery on December 13, 2018. The recovery was sightly rough because he had to go through the bottom of my foot,as well as the top of my toe but it was so worth it. My Foot looks great!! The surgery corrected everything and I was told today that I could wear heels again (not everyday just yet but for special occasions) and soon there won't be restrictions and that was fabulous news because I haven't been able to wear anything but flat shoes a size bigger, before my surgery. He's fantastic!! I would recommend him to anyone that has questions or concerns with their feet. Thank you.

Then, when we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff, and taken right in. He performed a small procedure and checked in with me the next day to see how I was. Long story short, Dr. Barkoff advised me to see a rheumatologist thinking it was some sort of rheumatoid issue. Lo and behold I received a diagnosis today of psoriatic arthritis. Thank goodness I'm in early stages and it is manageable. Dr. Barkoff is one of those clinicians who goes the extra yard, not many do these days. He's the best!

Dr. Papathomas is an excellent doctor. I've been seeing her…read morefor over 10 years for my annual podiatry visits. She is always attentive, informative, and thorough. For example, several years ago she measured my feet for custom inserts to treat my plantar fasciitis. She carefully explained how to break them in: one hour on the first day, two hours the next, gradually increasing until I could wear them for at least eight hours a day. She also injected pain medication into my feet (ouch!) to provide temporary relief. Thanks to her care, I eventually fully recovered. I've also seen other podiatrists at this practice during emergency visits when Dr. Papathomas wasn't available. Like her, they are highly skilled and clearly explained their diagnoses. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I always feel well taken care of here. I highly recommend Cherrywood Foot Care.
