I arrived early and was greeted at front desk in a friendly manner. Doing paperwork was straightforward on a tablet. I saw Dr. Brandon Naing. Lovely, he took his time talking to me and explaining things. He did not rush, which I find to be one of the most annoying things at doctors office. He was thorough and listened to my concerns. X-rays were taken immediately there, results and next steps all within 15 minutes. I was actually out of the office before my actual appointment time. Sweet deal! The waiting room was on the smaller side and clean at the Bellemore location.

copying & pasting my google review here so more people are warned…read more do not come here for bunion surgery. read that as many times as you need so you can save yourself. dr lee was my surgeon. what i thought was a confident attitude during consultations was actually carelessness. he did the bunion surgery on me over a year ago. i have been in pain ever since. i complained that the pain was not improving for MANY months. he would shrug (even saying "huh" "im confused" "i don't know what's going on" etc, verbatim) and send me off to PT, where the pain still did not go away & problems worsened. he preferred to talk to me about my personal life instead of the worsening pain i was experiencing. go figure. now, i have several complications, unable to move forward with my life, barely able to walk, my other foot developing problems from compensating, and in constant pain. i am crippled. i am in more pain now than before the surgery. i actually miss having the bunion. i'm likely looking at a revision surgery. never again at livingston though. i would give 0 stars if i could. again, whatever you do, do NOT come here for bunion surgery.

Yes, my reaction may have been over the top, but it doesn't mean you can belittle someone due to past trauma. Furthermore, he did NOT let the anesthesia work before doing the procedure, and so i felt every little thing; which made my experience worse. Dr. Rob was definitely more understanding since I was able to let him know about it beforehand due to prior appointments. He allowed me to calm down before beginning the procedure, and then let the toe numb out, as opposed to DR Livingston. Therefore, see DR ROB instead because he is much more patient and isn't rude, or arrogant.

EXTREMELY knowledgeable and actually talked to me and explained what was going on and then proceeded to follow through with an injection. That immediately started my healing and I was able to walk out of the office without limping - something I had not been able to do for a week. Last podiatrist I had been to after Dr. Fryman kept charging for all kinds of BS including things that were not necessary, added huge charges to simple things like show inserts (doubled the price). Dr. Jackalone did not push anything on me and I was thrilled. I'm glad I came back to their office after several years away and I will keep coming back.

For example, several years ago she measured my feet for custom inserts to treat my plantar fasciitis. She carefully explained how to break them in: one hour on the first day, two hours the next, gradually increasing until I could wear them for at least eight hours a day. She also injected pain medication into my feet (ouch!) to provide temporary relief. Thanks to her care, I eventually fully recovered. I've also seen other podiatrists at this practice during emergency visits when Dr. Papathomas wasn't available. Like her, they are highly skilled and clearly explained their diagnoses. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I always feel well taken care of here. I highly recommend Cherrywood Foot Care.
