I've been trying to get here for the last 4 years that my son was a student at SUNY Oswego, we finally had enough time to make the drive out here. Great hidden gem waterfall with ample parking and a flat very well-maintained trail with two viewpoints. We did not go down to the gorge trail, but did walk down the stairs to the top of the falls. DO NOT walk anywhere that looks wet as it's VERY slippery. read more

Love it here! I've been here a few times and always love the views! It's a great spot to hike and see the waterfall views. The trail is pretty easy and you can walk down to the top of the waterfalls or on the side of it. I'd definitely stop back here again. read more

This is a lovely, lovely spot. The falls are powerful and gorgeous- they are 110 feet tall! Please be careful- you will not survive the drop if you fall. It's not safe at the bottom. The river is shallow this time of year, but the water temp is comfortable. Fish flit here and there amidst the shadowy rocks. The trail is easy and well-maintained. Be warned that the river and falls are not very accessible for disabled persons. The overlooks give a nice view, and a wheelchair can navigate to them readily enough, but the way down to the top of the falls involves 44 oddly-spaced steps, and the way to the bottom of the falls is a steep, difficult trail. It's still worth it to visit for the overlooks and to take in the forest, and there are a couple disabled spots, though I have seen people with no placard taking them sometimes. Also be aware that the riverbed is slick, slimy stone, and it's easy to slip, so move carefully when you are in the water! There is a LOT of smooth stone to sit and sun on, late summer. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to visit, with gorgeous, dramatic views. read more

Beautiful spot! There are four trails all clearly marked. We hiked them all and got around 3 miles in total. The Gorge trail was the most challenging. There was a lot of poison ivy on this trail. There were signs stating beware of poison ivy which was much appreciated. Free parking available in an easily found lot off of the main road. It is definitely worth it to check this out! read more

I've lived in New York most of my life, but have never been there. I went with friends this past June 2021 for an adventure. It was absolutely amazing. A word to the wise, do Not wear sandals. Requires hiking boots or sneakers. The pathway can be muddy and very rocky. This is very well kept. Plan on returning again. read more

This is a hidden gem in upstate NY. It's absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of parking and a short walking trail. There are all these little lookouts on the way to the big reveal of the falls too. read more
