It is one of the best indian restaurants in Essex I have eaten at with efficient and friendly staff. The food is excellent with some interesting new dishes and plenty of traditional curries too. Its quite small, but that only adds to the atmosphere. The menu is varied, and the food is cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced. They dont have a license for alcohol, so you can bring your own, which saves you money - and they will even lend you a corkscrew if needed! The only downfall is because its so small, its virtually impossible to bring pushchairs in, and there are no highchairs available, so maybe this is one to try when you have a babysitter! The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly, and its extremely popular, so making a reservation is highly recommended, especially at the weekend.
