The first was a salon appointment, scheduled for a trim and deep condition treatment. I utilized the description of the services to book online since I was new to the area and did not have a permanent salon yet. When I walked in, checked in, and took my seat to wait, I heard the assigned stylist talk terribly about the appointment I selected to her coworkers. I have no doubt other customers could hear it. When she pulled me for my appointment, she informed I scheduled the wrong type of appointment and told me I did not want that treatment then decided which new treatment I wanted. She decided for me what I wanted done to my hair. During the treatment and my trim, I attempted to make small talk, but was given one word answers or ignored. My second appointment was a last minute eyebrow appointment since my new salon was closed. I was seen promptly, but walked away with my eyebrows looking far from sisters or twins. Luckily, I wear glasses that covers the total difference in them, but I cannot even freehand the uneven section on one eyebrow because it is so bad. I will say, the male that works in the Clinique section is super kind and helpful. That might be the only good thing about this store.

I went from natural hair to relaxed hair, so I trusted the stylist to handle the transition properly, but the condition of my hair afterward has been extremely disappointing. Then, for my daughter's 12th birthday, I decided to treat her to a silk press. Unfortunately, it was neither "silk" nor a proper press. The results were not what I expected or what I feel I paid for. Between the two of us, I spent around $300, and honestly, I would not recommend either service based on my experience. I'm extremely disappointed, especially because I trusted this salon with both my hair and my daughter's birthday experience.

I made a curbside order and ended up having to go inside, just to be told that they turned off the curbside notification, when I asked why this female had the audacity to say because they are short staffed. I see 6 people standing around doing absolutely nothing, just lolly gagging. This was around 11-ish and on a weekday. I could count on one had how many customers they had. So now this will be my 3rd time attempting to pick up my curbside order. If I have to walk in, im going to reach out to upper management, and I don't mean the ones sitting around in the store.

I counted 7 employees (not including the two at the checkout counter) walking around the floor. All walked by me multiple times in different areas of the store and never once did any of them ask if they could help me with anything, much less acknowledge my existence. I'd understand a little more if they were assisting other customers, but they weren't; they were too busy chitchatting with each other and having their faces glued to their cell phones (all while within a crowded store). I've never been treated like this in Ulta, Nordstroms or Macys, which is who will continue to get my business. If I need something specifically from Sephora, I will make sure to either order online or go into a location in another city when I travel, as I typically have had pleasant experiences at all other locations I've been to. The Chattanooga location is not worth your time and all I know is if I didn't do my job, I would be fired.
