I would like to start by saying all of you writing bad reviews because having to pay to much…read morebecause of insurance you should really do you homework cosmetic surgery is rarely paid by insur companies so don't blame the place blame you insurance companies and government. I must say this was the most professional establishment I have ever been to. the staff and Dr Hashemian made my full upper extraction and implants as painless as possible never had any bruising and minor swelling. I would have to say I would recommend this place extremely highly. thank you again guys for a wonderful experience sincerely Freddie Tedder

My appointment was for 2pm they told me nothing to eat or drink 6 hours prior. So I had been…read morefasting since 7am. When I arrived at 2pm they were very busy, at 2:30 I was brought back and had an X-ray taken, brought to the room where the dental assistant diagnosed my broken tooth needed to be extracted. She also stated that I would need to highly consider an implant either now or in the future but regardless I would be a bone graft to preserve the socket. I explained I was only interested in the extraction she was extremely pushy. The doctor arrived after another 15 minutes had passed and explained the same thing that the dental assistant said. I again said in only wanted the extraction he was more polite then the staff. I was whisked up front to the billing team and explained my cost after insurance, I then paid and was told to have a seat in the waiting room. At this point it was 3:05pm, about 3:45 I was brought back again and placed in a surgical room and connected to leads for the machine and a blood pressure cuff. The assistant tried to use the manual cuff 6 times on my upper right arm, 4 times on my lower right arm, and the same for my left. It was clear that the machine was not working properly, she changed cuffs back and forth several times as well and said she may have to do it manually. Clearly at that point she should have done it manually but she didn't instead she walked out of the room and said she would try again before the procedure. Around 4:45 an hour later the doctor emerged and quickly started trying to place an IV it took him several times to find a spot and after being stuck twice he got the IV to work. I was uneasy at this point but he quickly administered the propofol and I do not remember anything until they woke me up and whisked me out the back where my husband was waiting. It was 5:15 just 30 minutes from start to finish and out the back door with instructions and meds. They said go home have some broth and clear liquids and immediately take your pain meds before the numbness wears off. So I did just that headed home had chicken broth a little bit of Gatorade and some water followed by (1) Tylenol with codeine. 45 minutes later I was jolted by severe pain in my upper abdomen that wrapped around to my back I could hardly breathe the pain was so bad. After 20 minutes of wallowing in pain my husband refused to watch any longer and took me to the ER, they quickly brought me to the back and started an IV with fluids, ZoFran, and morphine. They did a cat scan and X-ray as well as labs which all came back normal. After getting me settle down and out of pain two hours later the doctor chalked it up to the IV sedation and the Tylenol with codeine on an empty stomach. I felt relieved and out of pain but still very nauseous by the time I got home I started to throw up which made my mouth hurt even more at this point. I suffered all night with little sleep and called the Dr. Hashemian 's first thing this morning Wendy answered and I explained my situation. I first asked for something else for pain which she stated I can just alternate Motrin and Tylenol, then I asked for a PO check tomorrow because of the vomiting I wanted to make sure I did not dislodge the blood clot or cause a dry socket. Wendy's response was if you are not bleeding you did not dislodge the blood clot. Try the Tylenol and Motrin, have a good day and hung up the phone. I will never recommend anyone to this office, and I suggest you do your homework before going there as well you will just be another number in their factory. Keep in mind I'm young and healthy overall and do not have any underlying medical conditions. I've been in the dental industry for the last 15 years managing multiple practices and I have never seen anything like this.

I haven't seen Dr Grillo recently, but I went to him after I had nose surgery, that severely damaged…read moremy nose on the inside and left me with very little ability to smell anything. I felt like I had an infection and was getting continuous nosebleeds which I never got before I had the surgery. He said the outcome of my surgery was so rare, that he didn't feel anything could be done to correct it.. He treated me for the infection and gave me a referral of a doctor that was in Texas. As the truth be told he was the 2nd dr that I saw for an opinion after the surgery. the 1st was located in Saint Pete that's in a book With names of the Top 100 surgeons in the United States! The 1st Dr treated me for the infection and said that there was no guarantee even if I had another surgery it could correct anything . So it would be hard to find a doctor that would even be willing to consider doing it with an outcome that seemed relatively hopeless. I was also having a lot of nosebleeds that needed to be addressed. But when I went to see Dr. Grillo he was very sincere & pleasant & I wasn't disappointed at all. But I don't remember too much about his staff so I guess I must've not had any kind of a problems.

I brought my 18 YO daughter to see Dr. Grillo for frequent nosebleeds and some other ENT issues we…read morewanted checked out. All of the staff was friendly, professional and kind. I wish I could say the same for the doctor. He put a speculum-like device in her nostril to look in, then stuck a long swab up there without warning. She flinched and her hands went up reflexively. He YELLED at her "DO NOT GRAB ME!". Her nose started bleeding and he placed something int here to stop it/ numb it. Then, he told her he was going to put a swab with something on it to cauterize the bleed. When he stuck it in her nose, she flinched again. She couldn't help it. He yelled again, "Do NOT grab me or this will end badly for you!". She never tried to grab him. It was reflexive. If he had simply explained that what he was doing might be uncomfortable and that it's important to remain still and hold onto the arms of the chair, it would have been fine. I asked him if the cauterization was a lasting solution and he nastily said "yeah, until the next nosebleed". What an absolute jerk! My daughter was also diagnosed with vertigo by her PCP who said she had fluid in her ears. Dr. Grillo said there was no fluid and "you got yourself diagnosed with vertigo but you don't have it". I told her to please describe the symptoms she has, and he says "oh, that's vertigo. It's BPPV. We can do some further testing but it will be outside of the county." The Mama Bear in me should have shot back at him, but I was already thinking we couldn't get out of there fast enough. We will never go back to him, even if he is the only ENT on our plan in this county.

BEWARE! If I could give a true rating it would be a -2 This…read moreplace was once a great place and my mother and me would get full body checkups every year. Doctor was nice and thorough. Well that era has come and gone. This place is awful. Disrespectful to patients... not just us. They seem to be only interested in getting your money and you only get to see an assistant... No doctor. Wouldn't give my mother her regular prescription. Now everything is required to be online. They expect you to give all your detailed information but then ask questions about what you already wrote down. Do they even look at that? NO. Had to wait a very long time even though appointment was made months ago. They cancelled it twice because they said doctor wasn't available. What kind of business does this? Requested to be on wait list in case anyone cancelled their appointment... never happened. The girls/staff are airheads! We normally used to only take 5 minutes to check out but last time it took over a half hour because they said they misplaced my mother's file. I do NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. It also appears that they want to just do BOTOX people. They were in and out. I only know this because I asked why they were there in the waiting room. Also, the place doesn't appear hygienic in anyway. I have more negative comments but my mother didn't even want me to do this one. She said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. However, she agreed because she has bladder issues and the bathroom there was always occupied or they locked the door. I know this review is lengthy but patients who need care must be warned so they can go elsewhere for professional help with doctors and staff who are compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. I don't think these assistants or doctors (especially the old lady doctor) believe in continuing education. Just know you have been warned and don't waste you time nor money!
