This pool is beautiful. I used to swim at the old pool all the time. But was so glad to see the city build this pool. I would swim here every morning for lap swimming. Lots of friendly people enjoy swimming here. The water is always kept very clean. Excellent staff members. A beautiful pool to swim in. My son started swimming here when he was only 6 months old. He eventually became a life guard here. Now my grand daughters are taking lessons here. read more

My first time at this aquatic center. The pool in itself is an beautiful, clean and warm. A great lap pool. I went in around 640pm and the manager said it was full but we could use the last lane since no one is using it and then when the swim team is done we could move over if we like. I said as long as we get a lane I'm fine, I don't mind where the lane is located. We get there and swim team has it so we go to another lane and everyone is saying it's their lane and they don't want to share. We swim in the common area pool because the young kids swim class is done but of course lap swimming is difficult because you have a lot of people floating in front of you. So we wait until 7pm which isn't much longer so we could get a lane. The swim team lingers and some of their friends go to their lane so it's like they were reserving it so again no lap for us. I had to leave, it was a waste of time, money and changing into swim wear. In fact I think I spent more time in the the changing room than swimming. Will not be returning. If the manager would have said no lane is open we wouldn't have even gone in, very misleading. Overly crowded. It's a great pool for the young but for an adult who is busy and wants a work out I would go somewhere else. read more

I've had my kids in lessons here since spring of 2011. I have to say I overall am good with this place but the instructors can be hit and miss. We had a really great one over the summer. Just beware - some of them are very young as one might expect and you never know what to expect with a combination of very young children mixed in multi-aged classes with very young teachers who clearly don't all the same experience level with teaching. I've decided to stick with it and get to know the management and get to know which instructors fit the best with my kids. I believe the price is right and I'd rather be the learning process be fun and less stressful than other private teachers in the area who are more intense. If you have an initial less-than-stellar experience, request a new instructor for your next session and see if it helps. ALSO another advantage is that there are "make up days" if you miss a day during your session. Be sure to ask them for details about how this works when you sign up your child. Another thing to consider - boys age 5 and over are not allowed in womens locker room which poses somewhat of a problem for me as my son is 5 and not confident to go in the mens locker room alone. I've scheduled our lessons around times when there are no adult swims before or after. There is a family changing room but the drawback is waiting for someone to unlock it, or there is a line for it, and there are no dryers in there. As I said, I've been pretty happy with the facility and lessons and only take a star off for the instructors not being consistent but if you're patient you can certainly work around it. read more

I have two children taking swim classes here. The instructors are all young, but seem to work well with all the students. The classes start right on time and finish right on time.The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The facility itself is nice and clean. The locker rooms do not allow the opposite sex to enter if they are over the age of 4. There is a family changing room but they only have one. read more

We had a party for our son this past weekend and we couldn't be happier. Booking was a breeze, the staff, their knowledge and service was absolutely amazing and they were incredible with the kids. I was especially surprised to learn our party was completely private which made it that much more special. This is officially our annual tradition, we highly recommend this place and we look forward to coming back soon! read more

My young son has been taking swim lessons here for several months now. Prior to his very first lesson, he was absolutely terrified of getting into the water. He was even afraid of getting into a shower with water spraying on his head, and refused to go into anything over knee deep at the beach. Now, he loves swimming, and jumps into the pool (cannonball style) with no hesitation. He enjoys and looks forward to his swim lessons The staff is friendly and competent. The facilities are nice and clean. The only drawback here is that boys over the age of 4 are not allowed in the women's locker area, and there's only one family changing area. read more

My kids have been coming to swimming lessons and overall they enjoy it. The pool is well maintained. The staff is friendly. The only thing that needs improvement is the teaching of some instructors. Some of the instructors don't tell the child what they are doing wrong or what is the correct way to do it. I'm watching a child freestyle across the pool but her technique is wrong. It looks like she's swimming in place and having trouble coming up for a breath. The instructor is Swimming along with her but doesn't stop her and correct her. The child gets to the wall and is given a "good job" with no suggestions on what she can do to improve. For the money that is being paid on these lessons, I would hope the kids are actually learning how to swim. Some of the instructors are awesome but some need to improve the way they teach. read more

As a previous review said: some are inexperienced---the young person who seems to administer the lessons overall is not very responsive to comments and questions, doesn't answer emails; changes levels of classes without considering all aspects of groupings. The front desk people are very pleasant and responsive. It's possible the head coach is in charge overall but it's not possible to tell from the website. read more

So I signed up my child for level 1 classes and it was the worst experience of my life for my child and I. I don't even know where to begin. My child was very hesitant to the exercises the instructor was telling her to do.so the instructor took it upon herself to get a watering pale and dumped over my child's head. I was furious. So after that incident my child just shut down. She didn't want to participate anymore. So this instructor has a rule where you can't say NO. Well my child said NO to a exercise and the instructor gave her a 2minute time out outside of the pool shivering and humiliated. WHAT A WAY TO TREAT CHILDREN ON THERE FIRST DAY OF SWIMMING LESSONS. I don't even know where to start. I signed up my daughter for beginners swimming lessons. I told the teacher that this was the first time my daughter has had swimming lessons and that she was very excited. So my daughter got in the water willingly and I sat in the bleachers to watch. My daughter was scared of the water, so the teacher took it upon herself to grab a toy bucket and pour water over my daughters head. My daughter was horrified. The teacher then told my daughter that if she was to say no to her commands, she will put her on a time out. well my daughter said no, and the teacher put her outside of the pool while all the other kids looked on. my daughter was shivering cold and embarrassed. So my daughter got back in the pool and the teacher dunked her in the water without my permission. My daughter then, started coughing execrably. I took her out of the pool and never returned. I spoke with the manger, and she apologized, but made excuses for her employee. I asked for my money back, and she said there where on refunds. I THOUGHT I WAS SENDING MY DAUGHTER TO SWIM LESSONS NOT BOOT CAMP. Please beware, and save your child the scarring and embarrassment my child had to endure. read more
