Quite often, when a…read moreconference or similar event is held in Tampere, the attendees are brought to Plevna for the official dinner. I would not do that if I was organizing. The place itself is OK (made in the style of a Czech / German brewery house), but you pay restaurant prices for food of quality not much better than in a "grillikioski". Sausages, creamy heavy potatoes.. All beers are locally brewed and in a wide selection. But this also means that all the choices given are only Finnish beers which are all rather flat and with that one specific aftertaste (I still do not know what creates it), which I am not a fan of.
