The only positives about my experience with Fisher's are 1) they worked fast and 2) the main…read moreworker, Dillon (Dylan?), is an absolute treasure and Fisher's better know how lucky they are to have him. Everything else was awful. 1. Bryan knew the entire time he was doing my job that I planned to submit an insurance claim to cover most of the costs. I can prove with texts and emails that he knew this. He never said a thing until the end of the job when he handed me my bill and then just casually goes, "I doubt insurance will pay for this kind of work. I've never seen them pay out for [these kinds of issues] before." And of course he was right. So I had to scrape and scramble and move money to cover the total and it wiped my whole emergency cushion fund. When I asked him to give me a couple days to get the money together without having to borrow any, he said no, not possible, even when I begged for just 24 hours more. I believe he intentionally misled me with his silence for the duration of the work he did on my home and then had no compassion or patience when I struggled to pay at the end of the job after he let me believe that insurance would cover most of it. I truly believe that he let me hire him knowing I thought insurance would cover most of it because he knew I couldn't hire him if I had to pay out of pocket, and then just planned to squeeze me for the total due at the end of the job, which is exactly what happened. And if all that shadiness wasn't bad enough, get this... 2. The work he and his team did was to wrap my downstairs AC ducts (in my living room ceiling) to stop them from sweating in the summer, and then they fixed the drywall that the sweating had damaged. Well guess what. It's hot out again and guess whose ceiling is sweating with drywall and paint leaking from her living room ceiling? MINE! So the work he did under false pretenses wasn't even good work, because my ceiling is doing the exact same thing now that it had been doing when I hired him in the first place. But there's more! 3. A worker of his named Will admitted to peeping on me while I showered one day when Bryan and Dillon had gone to another job. I have all of this in text. (Will has since been fired [for other reasons].) Dishonest pay practices. Shoddy work. Shady creepy employees. If I could go back in time and NOT hire Fisher's Home Pros, I would. Now I want my money back and Bryan is not responding to my texts. Literally leaving me on Read. Steer clear of Fisher's Home Pros!!!

I have been using Jonesy's Home Services for the past three years to slowly remodel my retirement…read morehouse. The house was built in the late 70s and the original owners made very few upgrades. Before contacting Jonesy's I made a prioritized list of improvements. I discussed the improvements with the JHS team and they provided a recommended order based on their experiences. If I had questions then, I don't remember but the order of improvements over the past three years occurred with no redundant work. Like any remodeling plan, there were complications because of the original materials and construction. JHS advised immediately and stoically as complications emerged and these came with reasonable plan modifications to mitigate the problem and continue towards the goal. Comprehensively, JHS directly added a door where there was only a window, added upper and lower cabinetry that matched existing cabinetry, replaced the counter top, added a kitchen length subway tile backsplash, removed a cabinet and replaced it with a dishwasher, replaced the oven and hood, replaced a water heater, replaced a two-basin sink with a farm sink and improved faucet/sprayer, removed a jurassic single unit molded plastic bath/shower and replaced it with a tile shower and pad, replaced sheet rock that was water damaged, installed a/c vents, installed matching ceiling fans and flush mount hall lights that matched all the door knobs and door hinges, and finally repainted the entire house interior. Over three years I got accurate price and time quotes prior to work being done. Finally, the value and dedication from JHS over the past three years has been worth the time, the planning, and the expense. I recommend JHS highly and I will continue using their services for future plans.

It can be a stressful and costly gamble hiring someone when you aren't from the area; with best voice and effort put forward during an initial call followed by a deposit with the final result to be completed one to several weeks later, and will even be to your satisfaction? None of that applies here - our experience with Tate Home Services was outstanding! After speaking with Aaron on the phone, I drove out where we met, looked at the property being prepped for sale then shook hands agreeing on what was to be done. I found Aaron to be courteous and profession both on the phone and also in person. He listened to my concerns and goal then helped formulate a plan to get the job done. Initial survey photos helped us to narrow down the work to be completed, a timeline was put into place and then final photos were sent showing all the work that had been performed. Other than our first meeting at the property, Tate Home Services completed all service requested in a professional and timely manner. Great communication skills, value and quality work. Billing, deposit and final balance were all handled remotely without issue. Thanks, Aaron! I'm keeping you in my phone should we ever need anything in your service area or have friends that are in need of referrals. jto
