The gentleman in the store starts cussing me out and telling me I need to turn over my fucking ID and I told him that who are you talking to and he's telling me that I'm giving him attitude and I'm being aggressive, which I never even said one word to him the other customers right behind me defending me, I went to the manager and filed a complaint against the male cashier, which other customers went to the manager and felt the same complaint I called over to plaid pantry, corporate office in Portland to let them know what was going on that this male white cashier has always gave me problems and today was the last straw The male cashier was trying to deny me service for something that I didn't even do or say, I was racially profiled once again The district manager that oversees all eight plaid pantry stores her name is autumn she called over to the store, asking what happened I believe that they're going to sweep this under the rug that that man that male Karen is going to be causing me problems. He put the nozzle in my car and set it for $40 and went back to helping the propane people. another car pulled in behind me and he helped them then went back to the propane people. My car was finally filled with $40 and I waited patiently. When he came back, he took care of the people who came after me and they left, but he didn't come to my car... he went inside. it was really hot in my car and I waited quite a while before he finally came back for me. I politely explained it was hot in the car and he should have taken care of me before the person behind me who had already left (now there were new people behind me.) the attendant got defensive and said "I am here alone and the world does not revolve around me." I KNOW the world doesn't revolve around me, which is why I waited patiently to be helped, BUT I do expect to be helped in the order in which I arrived since my car is ready to leave. the attendant also said I could leave on my AC but apparently, he doesn't know that my AC will NOT stay on if my ignition is OFF - the downside to having keyless ignition.

I am elderly and disabled and use a walker. The man behind the counter was having trouble with his cash register and had to change to the other machine, all the while blaming me for his mistake, saying I "didn't listen to his instructions". I explained that I didn't understand a word he said to me. His accent, either Indian or Pakistani, was so thick I honestly didn't think he was speaking English, and I am very good at working with people with accents. ( I used to dispatch cab in Portland.) Now anyone can have a bad day, but this guy seemed intent on sharing HIS bad day with everyone else. Total disrespect to another man, 30 plus years older than him, disabled, with a walker, and by the time he finally completed the transaction correctly and I collected my items, he was yelling at me, calling me a morherf*****. Really? That's how you treat an older customer? With zero respect? I will pray his day ends on a positive note. I will go to Plaid Pantry from now on, where I am always treated well!
