My first visit was with Dr. Kovid Trivedi was in Sept 2023 said that he had done many Endobronchial Lung valves when I asked about them. He was pompous and bragging he had done many. But then his demeanor and body language changed when till I told him I knew all about what and how the valves are done. He shut down and then told me he would not help me at all. I was flabbergasted. I asked for another doctor there. They don't even tell people there is more that can be done when you have COPD Emphysema. I then got Doc. Fayez Bader in the same office because Trivedi denied me services? Doc. Bader tells me he has to ask "the committee" about breathing valves. After consonantly asking in messages I find out, there is no committee. Bader went by Trivedi notes that I had occasional exposure to second hand smoke and why denied services. Why tell me there is a committee when they don't even do valves there? I find out 4 months later Dr. Kovid Trivedi has never done them before at all. None of the 8 doctors there have done them. Trivedi could have given a reference to a doctor that could then but didn't. Neither doc told me no-one there does the valves just to string me along for office visit fee's. Dr. Fein in Portland does the Zephyr Valves. That can give better quality of life till my end since there is no cure for it.

The office staff was so wonderful to my mom! They answered so many questions we had and the care they gave her was amazing!

This review is for the office and total patient experience, as I have not ever seen Dr. Bilstrom. I…read moreknow they recently changed ownership or practitioner or whatever, and so we had to re-establish care (and pay AGAIN for the intake visit). However, every step of the way has been frustrating, confusing, and poorly run. First, to schedule an appointment was incredibly frustrating because she would not let me book without knowing if my insurance was in network. So I had to hang up and literally spend 45 minutes trying to verify they were in network with my own insurance even when I told her on the website it looked like it was. I also spent a solid 15 minutes on the phone with her going over all my insurance information and she claimed it was in my account now. When I get to the appointment, I AGAIN have to give my insurance information. They made it a point to ask me for it again, and asked me to send them the card to their email etc etc. which makes sense but they said they didnt have the information at all! The appointment itself was uncomfortable because they have a very cheap little blood pressure machine that takes SO long to read that my arm actually went painfully numb. I am a nurse myself and I know a bad machine when I see one. My blood pressure typically runs 95/55 (or close to). This machine pumped my arm up so high on the cuff, into the solid 200's and then slowly trickled down over what felt like an eternity. There is NO way you get an accurate BP with a machine like that, and its not wonder why after minutes of pain, my blood pressure read 120/70, which appears textbook normal but is actually high for me. Then I go to pay for my intake appointment and they can not provide receipts. They got my email and said I would get an emailed receipt, which I promptly never did (still waiting 3 weeks later). I DID however, get a bill in the mail which does not reflect the amount I paid that day, and now I have spent 3 days trying to get ahold of the billing department. I kept giving this clinic a shot. On my second appointment when I walked in, lo and behold, I was asked AGAIN for my insurance information??? Do they seriously not have it? I not only gave it to you on the phone, but also wrote it on my intake paperwork (in TWO different spots btw), emailed you a copy, and here we still are. She couldnt find the email, so I had to email it again. What a mess. After my allergy test, I was told I would be getting information on the cost for treatment in the coming weeks. I have not heard a thing, which is understandable as sometimes insurances take forever. However, I did start receiving incessant texts and emails about a prescription that I received, which the doctor totally failed to mention she would be prescribing. While waiting for one of my appointments, a gentleman arrived to check in for his appointment, and when he did, he was told he needed to pay his balance. He was so confused and said to the lady, "I've been coming here for 4 years, I have never paid a cent. Why do I have a balance now out of nowhere?" So it is not just me that is stuck in a messy situation. They seem to be a mess. This clinic is disorganized and it makes for a very awful experience. The actual medical care is mediocre. I do not recommend.

Good luck trying to get an in-person evaluation to establish care. They drive you to tele-health…read morevisits, which don't work when the portal malfunctions. THEN when you request some sort or assistance for the second time and for and in-person evaluation for your 5 year old daughter that is in and out of the hospital for asthma complications they will refuse her care and let you know the doctor has declined your referral entirely. Is it so awful to want an in-person evaluation after a recent ER visit? To have the provider actually listen to her heart and lungs with a standard exam? I guess in Dr. Wassem's world it is. And when you advocate for your child, you become the problem AND YOUR HONEST REVIEW TELLING PEOPLE TO AVOID THEM IS DELETED. Take your child literally anywhere else. If I could give them negative stars I would. If this gets deleted I'll post it again, and again, and again. This is the truth if you don't want it out, don't treat people this way. After my first request was ignored, this is what I sent them on their contact us form, and their medical assistant called me the next morning to notify me that Dr. Wassem could not accommodate an in-person evaluation AND he was declining my daughter's referral. The only thing they did without delay was refuse my daughter's care. "I am trying to reset my password for the patient portal so I can log in for my daughter's appointment on Friday. I have requested a reset email 3 times now and received nothing. When this appointment was made I requested an in-person appointment due to tech issues with the first virtual appointment, where the email I was sent said click this link to your appointment, it didn't work and when I called I was told no, don't click the link, you have to log into the portal. The portal which will not let me log in nor reset the password. My daughter, 5 yo patient, had an asthma attack in the middle of the night and I had to call EMS and go to the ER on 1/24/26. I'd REALLY like to address my concerns at an IN PERSON new patient evaluation. I do not understand why I am meeting so many barriers to establishing care. I would appreciate a call from management to schedule. I am not an inept patient parent. I run 8 urgent cares. I know how patients should be treated and this is missing the mark. If my daughter is being refused care, please let me know formally, without delay. Thank you."
