Lactose free vegan gluten free raw cake? Check. Different varieties of healthy allergy-sensitive food like chia pudding and various delicious salads are available too. Normal options for people without allergies can be found as well (and apparently are uite tasty!) The coffee is smooth and delicious, and Bonsoy is used (as well as lactose free milk, and regular milks). Lactose free hot chocolate is one of my favourites to have, although they have a regular hot choccie as well. Decor is hipster, but friendly hipster. Glass bottles of water in crates and wooden tables. Only thing is, dont bring a group because it doesn't have the space or table layout!

Completely vegetarian with some good vegan offerings, be amazed at the degree of soy replacement in your sandwiches with the magic soy bean pretending to be bacon, pancetta and other types of piggies. The ciabattas and wraps on offer are mouthwatering and well worth a proper peruse. Personally I loved their salads on offer, the dressings are top notch and the flavours are creative to deliver something which is filling and tasty and yet not a poached chook in sight. Coffee is top quality, lattes smooth and creamy, just as they should be. The Annex also acts as a live space, the piano smooshed in the corner does cop a beating occasionally and the cafe holds court as a live music venue on special nights.

A nice change from Jetty Rd, great food and drink options. Arriving mid morning, It was very popular with the majority of seats taken up. Quite a good amount of seating inside and out, with the option to buy your produce from the adjacent shop. I went with poached eggs and avocado on toast, eggs were cooked perfectly and the avocado mix was beautiful. I grabbed a Go Go goji juice which was delicious also. Friends chose the veggie fritter which was also given the thumbs up. Friendly staff and they were happy to help with your order and despite being busy, our orders came out within a reasonable time frame for a Saturday morning. Definitely worth a look if you are in the Glenelg area and want somewhere a bit quieter than the bustling Jetty Road.

Gorgeous coffee, and a magnificent slice of pear and ginger cake - yum! The breakfasts that were coming out looked devine, so I'm looking forward to trying that out too. I also spied some yummy looking wraps and other lunch items on the board. Staff were friendly, and there is plenty of seating - so glad we left before the cyclists arrived though - *shudder* - nowhere is safe from them!!! We also did a bit of shopping next door in the little organic shop - it's only small, so the range isn't massive - but they do stock soap nuts, which I was very impressed with (they are nuts that you use instead of laundry powder - highly recommended!). We also sampled (and bought) some gorgeous sour dough bread made by Small World Bakery, which was delicious. All in all, this is definitely a place we will visit time and time again - yay!

Vegan Ham and Pineapple pizza, need I say more?…read more NOT cheap and far away from many places, but truly a delight. I work to patron businesses that cater to Vegans as a source or principle, but Godzilla is so good I don't a need a reason to stop by. We recently bought a unit and after a big day of moving we opted for something easy to eat for dinner and decided to give them a go. I was really pleased with the great service when phoning through my pick up order, They suggested what size and we went with a family (2-3 people) and although tonight we weren't incredibly hungry, I could imagine on another night we could have gone a size up. The 'Sicilian' was fresh and tasty, with olives, mushrooms and salami. The base was fresh and the toppings went great together and was ready in 15 minutes on a Saturday night. We decided to make sure the first go wasn't a fluke and our second attempt was just as successful. We ordered a BBQ chicken and 'The Pizza' and both were winners. The bbq sauce wasn't too overpowering which I find too commonly with BBQ chicken and 'The Pizza' had a nice kick with chilli flakes. I would highly recommend Gorilla Pizza, they seem to be open reasonable hours and also cater to the Gluten Free and Vegan market. Maybe a bit pricier than your bog standard pizza place but totally worth it!

Having said that; last week the pizzas weren't as good, the base was soft and a tad chewy. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt though as we had taken them to a friends house for dinner and they were in the box for the 10-15 mins drive so they may have steamed themselves. Every other time I've had their pizza it has been amazing. Another update; they've changed a few of the recipes. The Margherita is still yummy, but not as good as it used to be. However the Double-Smoked Bacon is so much better than before (but could be improved with a few more pieces of pineapple). Goodlife still do really nice pizzas with quality ingredients.

Having visited this little gem a few times, I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a balcony table, especially in Summer. There is nothing better than eating fantastic gourmet pizzas whilst overlooking the square and beach beyond. The restaurant has a homely feel. Candles light the staircase as you venture up to the restaurant. The menu boards are on wood and staff wear cute brown aprons that give you some sort of reassurance as to the authenticiy of the place. As for the pizzas; my personal favourite is the mushroom pizza, complete with the most perfect mayonnaise topping - yum! This is a great place to drop by with a group of friends for a casual bite to eat.

I really like how the meals weren't soy based which you get a lot in vegan/vegetarian places, but all the meals are very healthy and thoughtfully made. The coffee was great too, they make a beautiful almond milk coffee and they said they make their almond milk in house which is amazing. The service was alright, I got the vibe that the staff were all good friends hanging out rather than working. Nonetheless we were given table service and were treated nicely. I ordered avocado smash and it was amazing. The presentation was wonderful (as you can see from the pic) and the cashew cheese, tipped with pine nuts made such a good combination with the avocado. The bread was delicious and they were very generous with the avocado, leaving me more than satisfied. I also ordered a hot cacao which was quite unlike an other hot chocolate I've had before. It had a distinct cocoa taste rather than being very sweet and creamy which I suppose is what you from using cacao vs melted chocolate. I'm definitely keen to come here again will recommend this place to all my vegan and vego friends!
