Non consensual tow initiated by the sheriff/FHP after an accident; so firstly I didn't hire them…read more Absolutely the worst. Secondly, they opened my car and turned down the front windows then applied 'Crash Wrap' @ $25 per window. John, the guy at the tow company said it was to keep the rain out...($50). Next, they took the long way to their tow yard, two county's in the opposite direction then charged me for the mileage @ $4 per mile for 33 miles ($132). Google Maps and any other map clearly shows it 6 miles away. Within the first 24 hours, I paid the bill in full ($407) at 4:24pm so they can pull my car out before they closed and in time for a tow company (I hired) to load it up. At 6:08 the car was still locked up in their yard and the business closed at 5pm. Nobody claimed responsibility, everyone brushed me off and ironically said they didn't have a tow truck to pull it out because the assigned truck didn't have gas. Cost me triple because I had to pay for yet another tow and for the truck to turn around and return since my car was still locked up. John and his dispatcher repeatedly disrespected me over the phone , hung up on me, said it wasn't their problem, and gave no remedy for the situation, especially since it was due to their inactions. John said "Lady what do you want from me, I did you a favor". I'm still trying to figure out what he was referring to. In total they charged me $407 Loaded/Hooked mileage- $132 Tow/Hook Fee - $150 Labor (Hourly) price per hour - $50 Crash Wrap ($25 Per window) - $50 Storage Fees (Daily Impound Rate) - $25
