They were at least an hour and a half to come to me and once they came and loaded the owner called the tow truck driver and he told him to go pick up another car they were either gonna go leave mine or we'll get the other one and come back and get me so that they could take two cars so I had a big argument with him about it because I said wait a minute I've been waiting for an hour and a half so you should take my car now and I'm following you anyway it turned into a big ruckus it was not right I will not use them again AAA called them I did not read more

My call for towing was answered quickly. When Kenny arrived he was friendly, professional and helpful - reminding me to take anything that I might need out of the car prior to him putting it up on the truck - like the remote which I definitely needed !! Prompt Towing is my hero. I am a mother of 8 children and 6 grandchildren. I recently separated from my husband and moved to Florida for a fresh start. I drove a 26ft Penske moving truck from Phoenix, Arizona to Immokalee, Florida with a transporter on the back hauling my 2022 Toyota Camry. The trip took 3 days and I was exhausted. I arrived about 11:30 PM on Christmas day to my new home. It was raining but I needed to get at least my mattress off of the truck. In order to do that I had to get my car off of the transporter, unhook the transporter and pull out the ramp to the truck. As I was backing down on the transporter ramp, my tires slipped and became lodged within the transporter. I initially called https://mylocaltowing.com at (855) 703-3133. I sent them pictures and told them that I needed a rotator to lift my car. They said it would be $474.19 and charged my card. Then they said they would arrive in 30 - 45 minutes. After 30 minutes they called and said the State Police had an emergency and it would be an additional 2 hours. After 2 hours they called and said they would come at 11:00 AM. They called at 11:00 AM and said they were on their way with the flatbed truck. I reminded them that I needed a rotator tow truck to lift the car. A flatbed would do too much damage. They said we don't have a rotator tow truck. I then stated I wanted a refund. They told me it would be $219 to cancel. So distraught I started calling other companies and Prompt Towing called me back. My first question was, "Do you have a rotator tow truck" and his response was, "We have several". I immediately became overwhelmed with emotion and apologized for crying. He sent my hero David out to rescue me. David pulled up in one of the biggest rotator trucks I've ever seen. When I walked out he said, "This will be easy. We can definitely get this out with no damage to your car." David said I'm going to lift the car and I will need you to pull forward in the truck when I tell you. My car was out within 10 minutes with NO DAMAGE. I would recommend Prompt Towing for all of your towing needs. They are officially my go-toos now!!! Thank you Prompt Towing for taking a horrible situation and turning it into something so positive!!! I love your guys! read more

Have had more than a couple experiences with PTS - owner/driver is generally a surly, fat, dullard with a bad attitude. Definitely a knuckle dragger. read more

Greg is really rude. He was getting annoyed just because I had questions and started purposefully interrupting me. Also had to pay 50 dollars to get the keys out of the rental that I got into an accident with. read more

I called AAA to have my car towed at 3:12 pm Yesterday. Immediately, Prompt towing responded with an eta of 4:51. Not very prompt. When they were a half hour late, I called them. I was told I was next on the list. At 5:50 pm I called them back. They said that they had to respond to an accident so my tow was delayed. I was next on their list. Nobody gave me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know. I had to call them. At 6:15 pm I called and told them that I couldn't wait any longer. They said they would be there in 15 minutes The tow finally arrived at 6:35 pm The temp was 92 degrees with high humidity most of the afternoon. The real feel temperature was over 100 degrees I waited for 3 1/2 hours in a hot car. I would have liked to have been called with status updates. I would never use "Prompt" Towing again I hope that everyone reading this spreads the word of their poor customer service and lack of communication. This is a terrible business. Keep away from them read more

We couldn't be happier about our experience with Prompt Towing. They came within the time frame they had told us they'd be and were very kind and courteous. Their charges were reasonable and they showed care and compassion for our situation. We'll definitely be calling Prompt Towing again for all our towing needs in the future! It was a refreshing change to have someone actually do what they said they'd do and in a timely manner! Thank you! read more

Horrible service. Called in at 3:30 for a tow to pick up my vehicle and take it 5 miles. Was supposed to be there at 5:20, then pushed back to 6:30, then pushed back to 7:30, then called at 8pm and was told they'll be there some time in the night to get it. Never called me, I had to call them every time to see where they were at. Horrible business communication and definitely not Prompt. Would never ever recommend this company read more

I had a scheduled time to pick up my car, within 60 minutes of calling my insurance company. At an hour and fifteen minutes I called my insurance company back. They called Prompt, the message that was conveyed was that they were at least another 30 minutes out. So my thought is if you say your going to be there in 60 minutes or less, and your name is Prompt Towing, then be there in the time that you said you'd be there or lose business. My business is gone. read more

This is my second encounter with PTS Towing. I'm VERY satisfied. My first time three years ago was for towing services, and today it was for a flat tire in our driveway. Lady on phone was knowledgeable and exceptionally nice. Repair Tech called second later to advise of his ETA and showed up exactly as stated. He was very knowledgeable, took pics.. I'm very happy with this company and would gladly use their services again anytime. Tracey Ryan read more

They had a driver on I75 today June 9 2018 that was a harassing menace. Rode two feet or less off our rear bumper going 80 miles an hour. I have nothing but good to say about Prompt Towing and the drivers!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE them. But ladies, BEWARE......the supervisor named Edward is a PIG. I know most of the drivers and I was appalled when I went there for another reason other than car/towing business. I seen Edward in the lot and he offered me a very sexual invitation. I had just lost my husband not 3 months ago due to a motorcycle accident and he knew that. So to have him "assume" that I wanted or needed an invitation like this was very disturbing!! ladies...... By Far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Towed my RV 4 miles, charged me $750.00, dropped it off in front of my house, never reconnected the drive shaft or the air compressor. So I called them, yes I called them some 4-5 times and each time I was told someone would be over to take care of it. I waited every day, but no one showed up. their excuse? They didn't have my phone number! funny they got it when they towed me , but what ever. Finally I went over to the office and spoke to the "Manager". He said he would call me within 1/2 hour which he did. He said the truck was having a new pulley installed on the engine which he had just dropped off and it would be over after the work was done. That was at 10:00 AM today, it is now 4:57PM and no one has shown up. If I could give them a MINUS 10 stars I would... Don't allow the Sheriff to call these guys on the rotation list they are miserable and impossible to deal with. read more

Our boat trailer broke down on Friday evening. We called and paid to have it put on a flat bed. In the morning the boat was not where we asked it to be towed! We called and Prompt said they would need a release of damages form signed by us. We waited for the email and several hour later Prompt said we needed to sign in person. We drove the half hour to the boat still at the side of the road. They told us to go to lunch because they needed another hour to get the flatbed truck to us. At 1pm on Saturday they called to say it would now be more than 3x the original amount they already charged our credit card! That is no way to run a business. We found someone else after all that wasted time (Prompt is not prompt) and energy. What a scam!!! read more

After the axle broke on our boat trailer on a bridge on the interstate at around 4:00 AM, we contacted Prompt Towing. The driver "Z" arrived, assessed the situation, & loaded the broken trailer with our boat, with complete ease, & towed it to a local trailer repair place. Then we spent the day with the trailer man trying to decide what to do & it was decided that a new trailer was necessary. We purchased a new boat trailer but needed a machine large enough to transfer the boat to it.. We called Prompt Towing AGAIN! We explained everything to Ms. Sherry and she advised me that she'd have Mr. Mike (the man with the big truck) head our way immediately. When Mike arrived, he transferred the boat to our new trailer with complete confidence. He then helped us make sure everything was secure and ready to ride (as we had a 5 hour trip ahead)!!! I would definitely recommend Prompt Towing to anyone needing help Towing anything.. The service was awesome but the kindness, compassion, & professionalism shown by the staff is why they're successful. When you do something everyday and can still treat each customer like they are your most important issue at hand: people remember & spread the word!!!! Thanks Z, Sherry, & Mike. You guys rock!!! read more
