Salazar was the first place we dined at after checking into our hotel. I cannot stop reminiscing about their grilled fish with Caper Mousse & Fried Spring Onion! I love the flavors the caper mousse added to the fish, and it was perfectly cooked. That dish set the bar high for our vacation and, dare I say, was better than the grilled fish I had at Contramar.
The other dish I enjoyed are the braised leeks. I love all the flavors in that dish and the saltiness the ikura added. I do recommend pairing it with the potatoes (not pictured) to balance out the flavors we had from the braised leeks and grilled fish.
The rain mushroom rice was a nice risotto dish, and it was also a nice compliment to the other dishes we ordered. For dessert, we went with the Paris Brest. I thought it was fine, but I could have done without the dessert with all of the amazing flavors from the other dishes we experienced.
I do recommend dining on the outer part of the rooftop, where you can get views of the angel and city. 10/10 would come back when I'm back in the city. read more
