Okay, there is a "but", or shall i say "butt". Little did we (my male friend and I) know - that Warhol is actually a "gay/lesbian" club. At that time, we were just so into the music, so we never realized this. (Later, I read in my Lonely Planet Spain and it clearly says (I cite): "Warhol, A stylish haunt for gay clubbers who want an upmarket atmosphere in which to enjoy the funky house beats mixed by dreadlocked DJs". Alright, you should read this and digest it with a grain of salt. The DJs do NOT have dreads, and you wont hear FUNKY HOUSE here. It is so obvious that the review wasn't written by a person that knows his/her music well. However, I must say.. being a straight guy.. it wasn't like those obvious gay clubs where a bunch of "Village People" look-a-likes would show up and make a YMCA up in your alley. If you're in Malaga, and want to experience something really big - musically speaking - then let Warhol be your Shangri-La for the night. There is a bar in the middle, and the dance floor goes around the bar (literally a circle) -- note that there is NO sitting area available (or any seats for that matter). There are usually two chunky bouncers outside, and if they don't like you, you will not get in. But that's how it's played as a tourist in Spain. A lil fun trivia about this place.. DJ Alex Gomez is actually a resident DJ here, and you might see Miguel Picasso as well if they're not in Ibiza or at Dreamer's in Marbella. Well played, Warhol.

It's also a small, pretty small club, with nice house music.. The DJ and barmen was very nice people.. I liked the place..it's not such crowd.. But if u want to dance and have time with friends in place who won't bother you, opposite will smile u as u r 100 years friends, then visit this place:))

This is by far the hottest club in Malaga for sure!!! The DJ plays high-energy eclectic mix of fun dance music ranging from the latest top 40, house, reggaeton, techno, hip-hop, etc. It's a great place to dance away the night!!! Unlike those annoyingly exclusive and pretentious clubs in NY, the clubs in Spain are inviting and accepting, and the bouncers pretty much let anybody in for free. There's no snobbism, the Spanish party environment is all about having fun with everybody. Drinks are about 6 euros. The crowd is full of beautiful hipsters as well as fashionable tourists from UK, Germany, and Scandinavia. I can't wait to go back!!!!

A few days ago coming from a bar we walked past a big sign that said "pastrami" in neon lights…read more Almost as if it was a restaurant in NYC. The sign has a NYC feel to it. Since ruebens being my favourite food ever... we had to stop in. They only offered 3 types of sandwiches and reubens wasn't one of them. But an american pastrami sandwich was. first off they used mayo. Americans don't mix may with pastrami. It's mustard or nothing at all. Mayo would be as bad as ketchup! And they used just a few slices of pastrami. Again not very american. ha ha. Then they added american dill pickle. What?? On the sandwich. It's not a hamburger. But in the end it was pretty tasty! Certainly not American pastrami... if american than sauerkraut would have been an option with mustard. But still very good! The price was not very malaga. 6.50 for a small sandwich is pricey for Malaga. But Malaga is changing and becoming more expensive. ====================== Now here is what was weird. We were seeing people come in and going into the bathroom. What are they doing in there? It's a secrete room. Turns out this place is a night club. Which is pretty genius to have food at a night club. You can clean up feeding drunk people when the place closes. I can't review the club because I didn't know it existed when I ate there. But the food is good.
