They call it "thetah thetah poob", LOL), this venue specializes in mostly old school rock. The name says it all! The band that played that night played the cover songs of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Joan Jett, etc. Personally I'm not into this type of music but I must say that the drummer was amazing, he was the most entertaining part of the show! Fue una pasada! The drinks are cheap and the ambiance is very rock'n'roll with lots of ACDC posters.

I've come to find that Malaga is sort of like London in how they drink in bars. Small clusters of groups that don't interact with each other. And the bars are setup this way. Small bar area only for ordering drinks and a bunch of tables. I hate this! I like to mingle and meet new people. I want to walk into a bar and come out knowing everyone. And when I return... I want everyone to say hello. I think i've find my local. I walked in knowing no one, left chatting to everyone. My kind of bar... friendly! The bar staff were incredible friendly as well. The moments we spent at Boomerang--with the lovely Gill and Esther--outshined them all. We visited four times in two days (the 7th and 8th of August, pre- and post-dinner) and loved every minute. Both the plaza and Gill's space are charming and praiseworthy. The drinks (and snacks!) were delicious and inexpensive. And the company of these two ladies?? In a word: wonderful! We weren't just welcomed, we were embraced (literally and figuratively), and the nights we spent at Boomerang are what good memories are made of. I'm hoping we have the chance to make many more memories with these lovely ladies... Do yourself a favor and visit Boomerang. You'll surely enjoy the space, the drinks, and the company as much as we did!
